I’m trying to imagine if we could find a way to connect her to anything Camelot-y but then it hit me that I don’t think brave is actually based on an actual story.
One part of me wants to say that Merida is the black fairy, and since she was banished, she has somehow meet up with Emma and showing her the ropes in being Little Miss Evilz. But I…. Really don’t think that works.
I also wonder…… What if Rumpels mother… Is the Witch from Brave. I know this sounds stupid but… Anyone read the Pixar Theory? Well the gist of the theory is that the witch from brave is actually Boo from Monsters Inc and that she started practicing magic in order to find her way back to Sulley. It makes sense when its fully explained. Anyway, that sounds just like Rumpel going deeper into magic in order to find his son. As for the whole Camelot being all time weird, the Pixar theory basically goes that all the Pixar don’t exist in different worlds/continuities but exist in different TIME periods. Monster Inc being the future of the Pixar world, with the monsters going back in time to steak screams from children *realizing how crazy this all sounds* Look, I posted theory here a year or two ago, go check it out to have your mind blown. All I’m saying is, this could be a thing.

I just figured that it was another of her DO outfits.
But ugh, I really hate the idea of a flashforward. It takes away the suspense of the NOW because it reveals things to come. I mean clearly if CS have a baby, then doesn’t that mean they will eventually solve the Dark Swan situation and both Emma and hook will survive the story long enough to conceive and birth a child? Takes away some of the “anyone can die at anytime” factor.
But beyond that, I hate the idea of a Disney princess being Emma’s child. She is an original character. Her son is an original character. His father was an original character. I am going to give A&E a pass on this one… Because what they did made sense. If the casting call had simply been one that was for am actress with a Scottish accent, I think we all would have instantly figured it was Merida. Who else would have it have been if they hadn’t specified a direct connection to Rumps. So yeah, saying it was his mother was a misdirect and I get it.
I wonder, is it possible that Merida it’s the one who taught snow to… Archer things? Or maybe she is, like, RH’s sister. She will inevitably be related to somebody. Maybe she is Morgana."I could have the giant duck as my steed!" --Daniel Radcliffe
