Theory time: The Author is Cruella’s father. The Victoria Smurfit Character in the promo pics is mom. The mysterious stranger is Rumpel. Cruella is Alice’s mother. That’s why her younger self looks like Alice’s daughter. Madeline is someone else. Alice becomes the next author; it’s in her blood.
That’s crazy….. So crazy, it just might work o_o Cruella as Alice’s mother…. this could work I think. Maybe.

She left the Castle, went to the bar where she met Grumpy, went back the next day, went Yaogui hunting, and then was in Regina’s prison for 3 years.
Is it possible that the bar she went to was RH’s bar? Or maybe she encountered him while Yaogui hunting

I probably wouldn’t have known had it not been for whoever it was here who pointed it out. So yeah.
But I swear if they really try to say Alice is Cruella’s mother though xD and whats worse is that if so, thatd mean Alice is harassing her child with dogs. I think its safe to say it wont be so, but still, ya never know nowadays

So some kind of way Alice’s daughter goes to another family ala Emma Swan?
Well technically the events of WL happened during the beginning on S2, Alice having a daughter occurs years after that in the final episode where shes like 7 or 8. So its literally impossible for Cruella to be the child of Alice UNLESS she pulled some time travel mumbo wumbo

If you look closely, he has the author’s quill in his hand so he is probably already the author when he met her.

I thought Peter Gadiot was well cast for the role as Cyrus. He looks a lot like my Iranian friend.
Cyrus looks nothing close to the other…Agrabanians(?). And yeah, he may be a POC, but not the kind I think would be living in Agrabah.

I don’t believe that A&E are intentionally being racist either, but it doesn’t seem like the are making any true effort to diversify their cast by including non-white, non-straight, characters. In the little times we DO get those characters, they are instantly put away with either by death or just not being important at all.
All they have to do is write the show differently if they wanted. There could be a thousand ways to bring back Zelena without having to literally scarficie another POC to do it. Urusla could have played a huge role in this show given what they built her up as (a friggin OCTOPUS SEA GODDESS folks! Come on! How can that not be awesome and dangerously powerful) but no, they put her on the bus and gave her basically nothing compared to the other Queens. And the list goes on. I jut find it odd that we can have no POC character of importance without them being evil.
