Well we could always make the argument that the purpose of the hat was to be a prison for powerful magical beings who did evil. The Sorcerer could be a benevolent figure who protects the worlds from dark beings by trapping them inside his hat (which really sounds incredibly funny and awesome). Using the trapped people inside the hat as a magical source of power doesn’t necessarily mean thats what its meant to do. I actually figured it was just something Rumpel came up with but it does sound a bit suspicious.

I could have sworn I typed this already but here is the gist of what I said…

Maleficent seemed angry at Briar Rose specifically, meaning she wasn’t just targeting her to punish King Stefan. She seemed more annoyed that Stefan showed up at all, as he just got in the way of her revenge.

I noticed this too. Unlike the Disney movie, it seems like the history lies between Mal and Briar rather than Stefan, so naturally my first assumption (as with all OUAT villains) was that Mal was wronged with matters of the heart dealing with Briar. I think its completely possible they were together and Stefan somehow came between them or had Briar stray, got her pregnant, etc. I had a little theory about the whole situation but I cannot remember it for the life of me but I know it involved how when asked about Mal’s child’s father, A&E said “if there is a father”  which COULD mean that Mal’s child has no father but actually has TWO MOTHERS!!!!!! How? Magic. Plot. Magical Plot Device. Usual OUAT things. But yeah. that’s the gist of what I was saying…. I think >>

 

I hope we do get to see the history between them, but I doubt it.

It fits Rump MO. Cora, Regina, Zelena were all woman who we can say were all desperate for something and Rump naturally manipulated them and used them (sometimes) for his own agenda. I honestly expect we will see that Rumpel found and trained all these woman at some point as he did with Cora, Regina, and Zelena. He did call them his students before. So yeah, I see them all as desperate souls too. Thats usually most of OUAT villains anyway.

What if LILY actually becomes the next Dark One? I mean, she does have that new black costume, which I think looks kind of like leather? (I only looked at the pic once). I mean, if Lily really is Anti-Savior then it make sense maybe. Emma’s light and now Lily is literally Dark. A&E answered that Lily was the Black Swan to Emma’s Swan Princess or whatever. Just a suggestion.

If they were in NYC pre-Curse, with no magic, they would be 30 years older.

The sorcerer could have sent them here or they could have gotten here through some other magical means by accident or whatever. Its not the most illogical thing on this

Also Maleficent is wearing the dress she wore when she met Regina.

I’d like to point out that I meant the same dress she wore when she Fought regina in season 1.

I’ve been having issues reconciling Zen!Maleficent with the Maleficent we’ve seen in this season. But I think Zen!Maleficent would be before these baby stealing flashbacks, because didn’t Regina get the Curse from her immediately after she’d crashed the wedding, and the baby stealing happened after their honeymoon?

You are right now that I think about it. Regina and Mal fought for the curse, Regina took it, Mal went to Snowing to find the tree for protection, Mal told Snow she was preggers and now it seems Snowing kidnapped the child.

i dont think its an egg, I think its one of those things people carry babies in. I mean, I am hoping its not an egg T_T I already have a massive fear of child birthing and that thing is just ridiculous. Plus I don’t think eggs have scales. Unless eggs with scales is how dragons give birth? This is all very squirmy thoughts for me lol Also Maleficent is wearing the dress she wore when she met Regina. And if Snowing took Maleficent’s babe, I wonder why she was so chill later on. She said she “soldiered on”. Hmmm.
