Ya know when it comes down to “ships”, what exactly are the writers way of doing it? Both in other shows and OUAT. Are we supposed to just latch on to whatever we like or do they purposely lead us to where they want us to go? I mean, were we supposed to be rooting AGAINST Emma/Neal and going FOR Emma/Hook? I know they say they dont write ships, but surely if they want us to accept any relationship on the show wouldn’t they have to make us want to see it happen and get on that side. Thats what I see with Swanfire… I wanted to see them together. The flashbacks of Talahasee (sp?) just seemed to point in that direction. Idk >> looking at how divided the fandom is really just isn’t good. Like I said before, I’ve never been apart of a fandom that was as divided over ships as this. Thats gotta be bad, right? I think if A&E wanted us to accept Hook as Emma’s….companion, they’d have made some different writing choices than what they have. Because for me to go back, watch this show, and even try to see Hook as “the one” for Emma, id have to skip over every episode that had anything to do with Neal as well as any other episode that shows Emma showing that she wasn’t interested in Hook. Ugh. Atleast Ginny, Emile, and Jared agree and were all on the SwanFire ship. Possibly even Robert Carlyle too

* What happened to Anastasia will be explored early on in the Season, and it will told in a way for those who haven’t seen Wonderland.

* The Knave/Will’s relationship with the Merry Men and Robin Hood will be explored, and he has ties to other people in Storybrooke. Emma and Hook will be new to him, and he’ll have a “testy” relationship with Hook.
He has ties to other people? Time to guess! I say maybe Ruby?
* In the first few episodes, we will see something very iconic that will launch a new story and a new side to Disney they haven’t explored yet. This is separate from Frozen. But it’s something real Disney fans will enjoy.

Maybe this’ll be one character that won’t roll over and be blindingly charmed into a ‘bromance’ with him just like that, she said with misplaced optimism.

WHAT IF….Elizabeth isn’t just the SNOW Queen. She’s the SWAN Queen….. And she has a connection to Emma BEFORE she came to SB but Emma never knew. Remember how someone was watching Emma and Walsh in 3×01? What if it was Elizabeths character and she’s been following Emma her whole life. They wouldn’t want to upset their CSers. Plus with Will having gone through all he did with/for Ana, yeah, there’s no way in the dark depths of Parish Hilton thatd they’d even try. Everyone would be coming at them from all angles.

What on earth is the show’s reason for undoing this generally minor detail that is specifically pretty major to the character of Captain Hook. If their reason is ‘so he can blend in better in SB’ then that is a very weak motivation. I mean I just don’t get. Yes okay duh two hands are better than one, but why now? Why would he still care? You’d think that after 3 centuries he’d have accepted the loss by now. Perhaps the answer is that he hasn’t. Still, I find this hand thing very out of the blue and somehow it feels out of place in the grand scheme of things.
I agree with all this. I think it will go down like this:
-Hook will want to blend in more with the people of SB. So he goes to Rumpel and asks for his hand back. Blackmail may ensue.
-Rump gives him his hand, he changes up his clothes, everyone is surprised and makes a huge deal out of it.
-Near the end of the half of the season, Hook realizes the hook is a part of him and he wants it back OR he gets into a battle with the evil people and looses it again and refuses to have rump reattach it because he feels better with the hook.
….and then Blue Fairy is revealed to be an evil demonic force of sneakiness 😛
