Also, probably her death episode and maybe the last time we’ll see Gideon if he goes back to the Black Fairy’s realm

I feel like we’re changing formula a little this year. Rather than the big bad (A.K.A The Black Fairy) being defeated in Episode 20, she’ll be defeated in this episode (19). And then since Episode 20 is the musical, it’ll basically have it’s own little plot that won’t matter to the overall plot of the season. Then Episodes 21 & 22 (A.K.A the 2-hour finale – TBC but likely) will be their own usual mini storyline which sets up the possible S7 too.
Maybe Black Fairy causes the musical to occur through some kind of curse

I agree about giving her lower range songs. I don’t think any of us think any of the cast will be perfect, being primarily actors and not singers, but I think that if the show had gone this far so as to actually get a musical episode off the ground, one of the first things they would have done is say “Hey, lets see who can carry a tune”. Regardless, we have to wait however many weeks to see the final product or at least get a first glimpse at it through promos and commercials and I’m excited and say we all just hold off on the who cant sing vs who can. No matter what, as far as we know, all the major players on this show are going to get a song or be apart of group one. Lana may not be winning a grammy any time soon, but gosh darn it she’s going to sing and that’s awesome. Some people won’t like it even if its the greatest thing on the air, but it’s happening.
To be honest though….im a little worried about the dancing aspect of it all. Like singing is one thing, but dancing….ehhhh…. I hope there is no extensive choreography like Disney descendants (hated the dancing in there). Carrying a tune is probably much easier than catching a beat. I find the idea of seeing any of the cast dancing slightly cringe worthy. Except Ginny. We’ve seen what she can do :3

I actually see Regina singing a song similar to the one used in that one promo: It kinda sounds like her. Either way, they’ve got time to get vocal lessons and there is always the power of technology to help out on the ones who need it. I think if the cast were extremely musically inept, then this would not be happening at all. I have confidence that even if the songs are not great, they will do every thing in their power to make the cast sound acceptable. I’m more worried about the songs than I am the singing personally.
@Michael and others I LOVE Regina and the EQ and Lana P (and she is so talented with acting, dancing and some sports) but I too have reservations about her ability to pull of even an average effort with the help of technology. Some of the others, in particular the men, sing very well, and Emma/Jen is very good too, but I think with Lana it will be a struggle. However, I think if they kept all her songs within range of Lana Del Ray, Betty Middler’s lower notes for ” I put a spell on you” Nina Simone in general and Catherine Zeta Jones in Chicago (and I think Susan Sandron sang a song at some point in the lower range?) then she will be fine. A little off-key or a weak tone on some of the notes might also suit the character, just like Russell Crowe in Les Miserables. I’ve got a feeling that they will have the EQ do lower-range songs and Regina higher-range ones, though

Nah. Its still Dove Cameron. They changed everyones hair and costumes though. But its te same actors and actresses.

Well, if anyone plans of watching the sequel (woohoo, it seems I’m alone here in this thread lol xD) they seem to be releasing more and more things. I plan on watching for no other reason at this point than just to see Ursula and her daughter, Uma. The costume changes seem nice for the characters (although I admit I do not like the pirate theme going on here. No bias, I swear, but I just don’t see how Gaston and Ursula’s children get equated to pirate. Dunno.) But yeah. Here’s a new promo video that features China Anne Mcclain singing poor unfortunate souls and two posters for the film.

I don’t buy it…..I think her kiss put a spell on the guy so she can make him think they are lovers so as to trap him. But if is true, I have to wonder….is Lucas the father of all those children? Like, what if Glinda learned how to breed witches and he and Glinda are just going about it like rabbits to build their army of witches. That would explain why Sophie likes him. She’s his daughter.
But no matter which way it goes, I don’t trust glinda. She’s the Blue Fairy of this show.
Was it just me or was this episode incredibly more…uh…erotic(?) than the others. Dorothy and Lucas making tacos, Langwedere and Jack in the forest…. Jack and Langwedere in the bedroom…Glinda and Lucas kissing. It was a bit weird.

I thought it was the spell she put on the hearts that made the curse transferable, I forgot they were sharing hearts.
But still Id think the solution would be more than TLK. Maybe Emma will take out her heart and give it to her parents? And somehow still live maybe? If her heart is still alive in others maybe they can all live or something. Since everyone is out here walking around with no hearts and half of hearts, I can buy that. I just don’t want it to be a plain old TLK.
We already saw that in season 1. It wouldn’t be surprising or moving because its to be expected.
