Depending on the Red Queen’s circumstances (if she died or comes to Storybrooke with Will), I’d love to see Tweedle #2 arrive with him. Maybe he could have a relationship with Mr Smee, or Dr Whale if he’sΒ bi. Β πŸ™‚

Ooh I like the idea of the spell’s ingredients of a heart, brain and courage being within the three genies!Β The fact that the spell couldn’t be cast while Will was missing his heart points towards it too.

I read this in a link that was posted on the forum:

Though Jack the beanstalk boy is not involved in this take on the fairy-tale classic, expect the big man to interact with Emma and Captain Hook.

I suspect that any clues pointing to Jack are red herrings, to hide his real identity of Peter Pan. πŸ™‚

It looked to me like Young Regina was wearing a Tree of Life symbol necklace. I thought the contrast was interesting between that and her poisonous apples when she became the Evil Queen.

I think that he’s Bae, too.

The dove/pigeon that delivered the postcard could have been a reference to the book that introduced the character and mythology of Peter Pan, ‘The Little White Bird’.

Wow, there’s certainly a lot of evidence to support Dr Whale being Frankie. πŸ™‚ I’ll be so disappointed if he turns out to be someone else!

Also, carn in latin means flesh, and carnation can be described as the colour of flesh.

I just noticed that the horse in the opening shot of the episode is wearing a red feathered plume, and it reminded me of the red feather in Peter Pan’s cap.

I also found this handy website where a fan has broken πŸ˜› the episode down into 1,999 frames:

I’m wondering if, before the curse, Dr Whale had a romance with The Blue Fairy. Now his memory has returned, maybe he wants to get back with her, hence his asking Charming whether nuns could date in the promo.

There was the tweet from David Anders a while back, mentioning the colours red, white, and blue. Some wondered if it was a cryptic clue, and If he did have a thing for the blue fairy, that would link him to Red, Snow White and The Blue Fairy.
