A lot of people have been asking why Emma Swan wasn’t helping her parents at the hole in the ground filming on Monday, and I didn’t know the answer. Well, today I do know the answer. She’s not in Storybrooke, she’s left for New York to find Neal Cassady.
Let that sink… 😮
If Neal is not Bae, I will be very disappointed b/c the one alone pic of him, I assume looking at Emma, reminds me Bae.
Actually, if Neal turns out to be Bae, I will be very disappointed, and will probably stop watching the show. I haven’t been particularly thrilled this season anyways, it’s been kind of boring. I keep watching, giving it a chance, but my chances are wearing thin. Sucks, because season one was so good.

Emma’s power was unleashed in the episode when Emma deflected Cora with magic! Mr. Gold confirmed that Emma’s power is owing to the fact that she’s the product of true love, or put another way, she is true love incarnate, the most powerful magic of all. So, we’ve seen Emma’s ability several times. Emma created a separate hat for Jefferson in 1×17, which might have worked. When Emma decided to stay in SB, time started again, MM awakened David, and the mine shaft caved in when Emma put on her deputy badge. Emma recharged Jefferson’s hat just by touching it in 2×1 and broke the curse when she kissed Henry in 1×22. What else is Emma capable of now that she knows about her power? Is she a good wizard of sorts? Could she possibly break down the barrier between Storybrooke and the outside world? Is she more powerful than the Dark One’s magic?
Maybe she can kiss August and turn him back to human again…..

Despite how crammed it is, I think this is one of the strongest episodes this season so far. First off, glad both Snow White and Emma are back in Storybrooke. 🙂 I’m am gonna miss Princess Aurora and Mulan–hope we will see them again. It is great how they are both going off to find Philip together.
Loved how Snow White kissed him awake and how she was able to use the magic. Her fight with Cora was awesome and well done, too.
Loved Emma in this episode. 😀 We see more of her insecurities–she knows she is the savior, and yet she feels helpless and does not know how to embrace her role. Her fight with Captain Hook was awesome–the fight secnes between the two of them were awesome, and I loved how she knocked him out. 😀
Rumpelstiltskin still annoys me–I know he is popular, but not only do I think he is overrated, I think he is a jerk. I already found it silly when Belle said that it would take a while for people to warm up to him when he is a murderer and a manipulator. But his little lines to Regina were a bit harsh.
Also, I think the whole built of of sympathy for Regina is ridiculous. She has killed and tortured and imprisoned people and yet we are meant to feel for her. I know she helped Snow White and Emma and that is great, but that won’t make her friends with everyone in town right away. Henry already showed her how he is starting to trust and believe in her by staying with her more and with the hug he gave her. And yet he and everyone are horrible when they do not invite her to dinner.
Wow, and I thought I was the only one in this universe that really doesn’t care for Rumpel. Thumbs up! But, I do like Regina, and I am interested in what goes on from here. I didn’t like how Henry treated her at the end as well, but, it’s a good storyline to keep the plot thick. Kids can be dumb, and don’t realize their actions can have an effect on adults. Snow did it herself when she was a girl with Regina, and it looks like her grandson will repeat history.

It has to either be the ultra erotica of Hook’s sexual implications while sliding his sword and hook over Emma’s, and Cora trying to take Emma’s heart, (sorry, while that is a favorite, it’s also a direct ripoff from Avengers when Loki tried to take Tony’s heart)
Least favorite moments-Henry not inviting Regina, and again, the lack of August and/or any mention of him from Emma. After all, he was the one that told the viewers of that well, how come he knows as much as Rumplestiltskin? And oh, I never did like Rumpelstiltskin, and this episode just furthers my dislike of him.
warhorse78ParticipantThis is why I am hoping Neal is a regular joe. I want to see what would happen with a guy not having no blood relations to FTL. Of course, maybe Henry being his son could give him some leverage.

Why would Merlin trade his sons with Rumplestiltskin?
Maybe Merlin doesn’t know about his sons, like Neal doesn’t know about Henry.

Least favorite moment. Didn’t care much for the zombies. They seemed to be geared up to be the big plot point in the commercials, and I was left not impressed, and liking the whole sleeping curse plot much more.
warhorse78ParticipantHook seems to me to be a man on a mission, and he’ll do whatever it takes for him to complete. His mission, to skin a particular crocodile. He’ll manipulate, bend and twist the rules to all his liking, so as he gets to Rumpel.
And was it shown that he was the one who took Aurora’s heart????? Perhaps he knows another witch or wizard that we haven’t met yet. Maybe there is an evil fairie there that know’s magic. Snow once said that there are dark fairies as well as the good, maybe Hook, along with his journeys, met up with one. If you know the tale of Peter Pan, you know Hook has dealt with fairies before.
I noticed Emma calling Charming David. She’s going to call him David because that’s what she has come to known him as. People back in town seem to go back and forth with him, some call him David, some call him Charming.
Oh, and I agree, Emma had one of the two best lines in the show. Her “I climbed a bean stalk for that, get your own!” And Charming’s “I faced you, how bad can it be!” line to Regina. Hilarious.
And I am really liking Rumpel now. I like that he is actually helping Henry, and Charming, surprisingly, and so far, he don’t care whats in it for himself.
Have to laugh at Granny though. She was probably afraid that the Gun Fight at the OK Corral was coming to her Diner. LOL!

A unicorn in disguise…you’re close. It’s a golden bird, a Pheonix in disguise 😀
One can hope. This is one of those shows where nothing is coicidental to me.
Too bad we don’t see a Bumblebee reference, it would be cute. Heck, I am so surprised nobody pulled the “punch buggy, don’t punch back!” line yet.
warhorse78ParticipantYou don’t see him working for the blue fairy???????? It’s very obvious in Return when he has that conversation with Mother Superior, who I believe is very aware of what is going on. and I believe she sent August to get Mr Gold’s dagger.
