I had my own little theory about Emma’s magic. I think Charming’s father was Merlin, and that his magic skipped a generation, and is now in Emma’s DNA.
[adrotate group="5"]warhorse78ParticipantEh. Here, I was hoping that it might be a unicorn in disguise.

You’re the one who should get real. What with these blind defenses that’s pretty much your very own assumption and fantasy when the writers and the story line stated very clear that he selfishly took the money for himself and only came back because his legs was hurt. He didn’t search for any FL characters in Phuket. He went there and enjoy the 20 grands, he told Emma that in his centric esp in season 1.
Actually, I’m very real. I’m not blind, I’m just optimistic. Can’t blame me. He was accused by Emma for telling Regina about the shovel they found, when it ended up being Sidney Glass. I just can’t take anything on this show for truth, when they like to twist and turn the stories into very intricate patterns. Nothing is obvious on this show.
And he never told Emma that he enjoyed her 20 grand in Phuket Island. And it makes no sense, why would he do all the horrible things people are accusing him of, and still send the postcard to Neal. I guess we’re just going to have to wait and hopefully see.
warhorse78ParticipantThat would be highly unprofessional of him. He is there to play a character.. not a loved and the bestie character in the world.. but a character that the writers create and expand upon.
Not really, when he went through a similar process in Covert Affairs.
No, I didn’t because 1) It would be stupid for anyone to send money to a prison or a car and 2) like said MULTIPLE times before, it was very obvious that August took the money. Reading his facial cues and body language makes it obvious. It’s called reading between the lines. No, there was no dialogue that stated he didn’t take the money but the ACTING told us.
Sorry, I don’t see that. It’s not obvious that August took the money to me, since this show is always telling us to look past what we see in front or what is intended. Nothing is obvious on this show.
They did film it. Watch it again and pay attention to Bailey’s face when August sees the money and how he tries to turn away from temptation by saying “Money isn’t what she needs. Not for what’s ahead.” Because he knows if he takes that money, he’s going to pocket it. He was trying to resist temptation but ultimately failed.
Again, this show is famous for throwing obvious out the window! It made it look like at first that August was the one that ratted out the shovel to Regina, when in the end, it simply wasn’t true. Why should this instance be any difference????????
People have been annoyed with Neal and his decision and his “laying over” and just accepting of what August said. But, this isn’t a Neal thread.. it’s an August thread.
But even on regular discussion boards, I see people wanting to kill August, for theft. For leaving Emma when he was 7 years old. For tearing up the family, blah, blah, blah. But, he did not kill anyone! He did not physically hurt anyone. Not yet that we have seen. Why aren’t there posts crying for Regina’s or Rumpel’s heads on a stake. Instead, people love them. It’s sickening.
No, I don’t see your end. So, because Emma made a life for herself within 10 years means what? That she had 20 grand to her name when she was 18? I don’t think so.
Well, if you don’t have an open mind and only want to see the worst in people, then go ahead. He stole from her and was selfish and greedy to your eyes. I, just don’t know what happened, and I still think he’s not working alone. He seemed to have a genuine rapport with Emma and Henry, and that’s something I cannot get past. That is what is keeping my hope about him alive. I hope to see more of that in the very near future.

wellllll, I’m getting more and more excited for that! But somehow it feels like the writers are sort of playing with the pun here – yes, it’s cricket, so something to do with Archie but, I’m sure everyone will also think of Wonderland and game of croquet.
Which on the other hand links nicely with the Lana Parrilla tweet about her finishing “filming 2HUGE eps bck to bck! Episodes 9&10!” so could it really be that Evil Queen is Alice???What? I see the word “Cricket” in the title of a OUAT episode, my head is going to go right for Jiminy Cricket. Wonderland doesn’t event compute. Even more, Archie is supposed to be a psychiatrist, they are often known to, let’s say, paraphrase this in their sessions “Ok, let’s play a game” usually meant to stimulate memories and feelings. I think Jiminy Cricket is going to use his talents as Archie to extract information from somebody.
Just my 2 cents.
warhorse78ParticipantIsn’t this supposed to be the episode that has Belle as the centric character. Would make sense. Out of all of the women on here, she definitely seems to be the outcast. No close friends or really loving family. Not yet.

Oh Emma is one of my favorites, too! 😀 As it Jefferson! Also, I know this is an unpopular opinion, but I feel like Regina and Rumpelstiltskin are a little overated. They are awesome, I just don’t see why people depend them for everything, and then when one of the other characters make a mistake, they are hated.
People love their root villains…….It’s all I can think of.
warhorse78ParticipantBlue Fairy is a manipulative individual, and I trust her about as much as I would trust Rumpelstiltskin. It’s weird, but she herself has been intertwinded with as many lives as Rumpelstiltskin. She turned Jiminy into a cricket, in return, asked him to guide Geppetto in his life. And, she seemed to have a hand in giving Geppetto the wood to carve Pinocchio out of, and she was the one that turned Pinocchio into a real boy.

Unless Bae is Neal and Peter Pan.
I really think Bae is Neal….
The fact that Neal was so easily convinced by what was in August’s box, makes me think ‘Neal’ is from FTL, and only 3 ppl made it out of FTL before the Dark Curse…August, Emma and Bae.
If Bae is Neal, then there is a good chance he also Peter Pan….there are just way too many clues connecting Neal and PP.
Well, by the looks of it, there are definitely more than 3. We know there is a whole section in FTL that was untouched, that had Hook and Cora. And, it’s possible that there are FTL creatures we have yet to meet that could have made their way to our world. Jefferson did question Emma on “where did those stories come from” and our stories of Snow White, and evil witches, Mulan and such. It’s because we’ve had FTL people here for a long time. Possibly for centuries, and maybe even millenia.

And I agree–people stick up for Regina and Rumpelstiltskin when they have done far worse things, and have yet to feel true remorse for their actions. Not once have they said, “I’m sorry,” to the people they have hurt or admit they were wrong. They both (though I will say that Regina is making a bit more progress than Rumpelstiltskin) seem to still almost either justify their actions, come up with the same old excuses, or dismissed their actions entirely.
And yet when August does wrong, he has a whole army against him 🙄
And unlike Regina and Rumpelstiltskin, I do think August may feel guilt–that might be why he is hiding out. He may be too ashamed.
It’s probably why he became a favorite of mine. I tend to like the “underdogs” so to speak. Although, I still love Emma and Jefferson more. I sure hope we get those scenes of Jefferson and August from Hat Trick later on down the road.
