I avoid sneak peeks like the plague, but no way is anyone gonna pry me away from the TV tonight during that promo!!! I definitely think I’m in stage 6 right now, but I’m pretty sure I’ll be in stage 7 by Friday. 😆 But seriously now, is it possible we’re all under a curse that’s making these past few weeks take longer to pass than they should?!?
[adrotate group="5"]wewerecursedParticipantLol, their merch is so unfortunately lame. Go to redbubble.com and search Once Upon a Time, they have some AMAZING T’s.
wewerecursedParticipantWell, my interest in tonight’s special has waned somewhat because of the RIVETING (please note my sarcasm there, lol) story notes provided in the enhanced episodes, but I’m still going to watch it. I love BTS stuff especially the green room scenes.
I don’t remember there being as many (or as long) hiatuses last year. There was the winter one, and then the usual week-skips like for Superbowl Sunday, but were there these random for seemingly no reason breaks?
wewerecursedParticipantThat’s basically what I’ve always thought, that the curse only made them the worst version of themselves. Magnifying their faults. Taking away their confidence. Because when you get right down to it, that’s exactly what they all were, themselves, without confidence in themselves.
Also, since the point of the curse was to take away the happy endings, everyone had something in their lives that made them miserable. (And I’m mostly talking about before Emma stirred things up. ) MM had her loneliness. She probably walked around in their groundhog day world with a constant ache and emptiness not just because of not having her true love, but because of not having her baby she didn’t know existed. Gold had his weakness, his painful leg, but because of his deal with Regina he still had power. Ruby had her restrictive life under her Granny and lack of self-respect.
When Emma arrived and the clock started to move, everyone slowly began to regain what they lost. True, MM and David’s affair was a fiasco and bad decision on both their parts, but that I don’t think happened because of the curse. It happened despite it. Since Emma broke MM’s loneliness, her ability to stand up for herself and go for what she wanted SLOWLY began to return. Because of that, David got to wake up. Because she encouraged Ruby, Ruby was capable of growing up and gaining self-respect. Like Henry said, Emma was changing things. I think the curse started to break the moment she decided to stay and continued to weaken throughout the coarse of the season and all that kissing Henry really did was restore their memories. They were already slowly becoming themselves again.
wewerecursedParticipantI’ve seen people suggesting that Regina somehow sent him to Neverland because a Disney TV cartoon set there has a character named Captain Flynn. It’s not a bad one, I guess, despite Captain Flynn not being a classic character from any story; there’s the little problem of a lack of magic to sent him there, though.
That’s an interesting thought, but how could she have done that? She didn’t have a whole lot of magic and I can’t imagine her using what little she brought back with her (remember she had to give up her magic ring just to get that apple) to send Kurt to NL instead of just locking him up or killing him.
Agreed, though I wonder how hard will it be for Owen to find him. The asylum is the obvious place Kurt’d be, but not only it seems too easy an answer to Owen’s problem but it also makes the Charmings look stupid that the place is still keeping Regina’s undesirables to this date.
Yeah, it’s the obvious place, and no one seems to have acknowledged its existence. I’m assuming that only Regina, Nurse Ratchet, Jefferson, Belle and Rumple know it’s even there. I totally agree though that the Charmings are going to look like idiots if it’s revealed there’s still people down there. “Hey look! I found Sidney!!!” 😆
I’m curious to know, if Kurt is alive and still in SB, did he age? Henry aged but he didn’t come till much later, so it may be possible that since Kurt was there when the curse hit and didn’t escape like Owen he never aged. I kind of what this to be the case, because I liked the guy who played Kurt!
wewerecursedParticipantI love that Hook and the Floor is tied with Snow and Charming 😆
But really? I think I’m becoming a Hoor (pronounced whore? LOL I don’t know.) shipper myself!
wewerecursedParticipantMy theory (and sorry if this has been said before, and careful with spoilers because I know that mega spoiler pics of the finale have been leaked but I haven’t seen them!) is that Nealfire was the ORIGINAL Peter Pan. He’s certainly been around long enough. I think Tinker Bell probably helped him get out of NL before the curse hit. The lost boys, like everyone else, were cursed and sent to Storybrooke. Now that they’re awake, they want their Pan back, but get angry when they find out he grew up. But learning that he has a son, they decide to kidnap Henry to NL to make him the new Pan. I don’t think Henry would ever run away to NL alone, he loves his family too much and wants to fix it. But I do think that once he gets to NL he’s going to begin to like it (in a Simba kind of way) and by the time Emma and Co. finally find him, he’ll be a full-on Pan. (Henry Pan? Has a ring to it. Lol)
wewerecursedParticipantI heard Ginny say in an interview that Mary Margaret was “forever 28.” So as far as the cast knows, she and Emma are the same age. But the creators are funny about that kind of stuff, so they could always change it at some point. I honestly think it would be hilarious if she were younger. It would make for a fantastic “WTF” Emma face. 😆
No one has ever mentioned how old Charming is though. I kind of think he may be younger than them,
I think it’s probably a plot hole about Regina and Maleficent’s conversation, keeping in mind that was, what, the 2nd episode? Everything about Snow’s age is pretty confusing to me though, because when she’s first banished it’s clear she isn’t supposed to be much more than a teenager (which Ginny acts wonderfully) but by the time she meets Charming she’s hardened, used to the wilderness, and seems much more mature, leading me think years could have passed since her encounter with the huntsman. And after he breaks her sleeping spell, they had an ENTIRE WAR to fight to reclaim the kingdom. That had to have taken a while. The creators say they have everything mapped out, but as awesome as they are, at this point I think they’re kind of making it up as they go along!
But then, it’s FTL…so I guess we should take all timelines with a grain of salt.
wewerecursedParticipantAugust in first? Really? I couldn’t decide between Hook, Jefferson and Graham…so I voted for Rumple. 😀 We all know he deserves the win the most! I gotta say though, I’m really surprised Charming isn’t getting more love than he is. It really just isn’t fair to him that there are so many hot guys on this show!
Also, I LOVE that Leroy is ahead of Sidney, Daniel and even Lancelot! Go Lee Arenburg!
wewerecursedParticipantOMG The “Enhanced” episodes! I only caught The Miller’s Daughter because I’d heard about the commentary and was like, well, cool. And then I’m watching it and I’m like, “Whoa, Rumple was stabbed by Hook?!” -_- Lol. But that one up there ^ is much funnier.
What were they even trying to do? O_o
