To look at it….Hades instead of Hook with a bluish black apple with blue flames in the background would have worked a lot better! Or even Hercules with a golden apple and bright golden lights in the background. Why in the world did they choose Hook when our upcoming visitors are from Hercules?

I think Hades may be completely CGI or at the very least be partially CGI. The hair alone would need to be CGI because no way they could just set fire to a guy’s head.
That sounds too expensive for this show to do, honestly.
Lord knows the only offensive magic we’ve seen them do is fireballs and beams of light…..MP’s right, I don’t think they can afford the fire hair thingie. The most they could do is give Hades a dark shade of blue hair, modeled to a similar look of the flames.

This show really has become Once Upon a Hook now. It should’ve been EMMA who sacrificed herself and really become the Savior by taking in the dark magic and going to the Underworld. In a narrative sense and in a character driven sense, her dying would’ve been better to motivate everyone else to go and get her back, because unlike Hook, everyone loves and is petsonally connected to Emma. She is the glue that holds everyone in SB together. It would be 1000x greater if Emma really were the central character and the one who features on the poster for S5b. The first half of S5 was supposed to be about Emma, but instead it became all about Hook. Now it seems as if the second half will be all about him too.

It would have come full circle! I truly do believe, that this was what supposed to happen but somewhere in the middle of 5A, Someone changed the season arc! We know there were plenty of changes, Regina getting conned out of her Savior Plot, Emma truly being the evil Dark Swan like the end of 5×01 teased, Snowing actually being useful in an effort to save their daughter, somebody in either the writing room or at ABC Studios changed 5A from the Arc it should have been! Basically everyone got screwed over just to give Hook some form of importance and usefulness besides being the sideline love interest.

So, about that poster… Am I the only one who found it riotously funny? I mean, that right there completes Hook’s saccharine Fabio-ization. In light of this, I petition that we start calling him Hookio.
