ParticipantLeave it to Cora to be the Mayor of Hell. She wouldn’t have it any other way more than likely.
It’s interesting you say that because in classic myth everyone knows that Persephone is Hades’s bride. But there’s another name for her that often isn’t used: Kore/Cora. It means maiden and it’s meant to emphasis Persephone’s youth, but count on OUAT to flip it.
Dating a god is something Cora could definetly not pass up….
I guess Maleficent’s gotta run the town again now that Regina is absent. Isn’t Henry in school…or does he just get a free pass because his mothers are the Evil Queen/Mayor and the Savior?

ParticipantDefinitely! This isn’t the last we’ve seen of Zelena….I get the feeling that this is a momentary banishment of Zelena from Regina, most likely to teach her a lesson. I think of it as a time out for Zelena.

ParticipantI also dont understand the mechanics of how it even happened. Was the answer literally just squid ink?
I honestly don’t know. I mean I have zero idea because I was too busy screaming.
Another question…if she’s no longer the Dark One…how in the world did Emma hear the dagger calling to her?

ParticipantEverything about this episode is everything I hate about this show now. I cannot even begin to describe the level of idiocy this show has become. Emma doesn’t second guess her choice to endanger her 13-year-old son’s life by taking him to the Underworld with her ? Does anyone even in SB have a brain? Why the crap is Regina letting Henry go? And why the heck are Robin, Regina, Snow and David going to the Underworld? They’re all parents of INFANTS and YOUNG CHILDREN? What they heck do they care if Hook stays dead? And I cannot even begin to describe my loathing that Emma cannot let Hook die a hero because of Rumple, but she will let Neal (her son’s father) stay dead. And Rumple is EVIL for reasons that make no sense. Oh and Rumple probably got a child on Belle after her tricked her AGAIN and then concealed from her the truth that he’s the dark one…again! And no one thought to tell Belle even though they knew the truth, so Belle is going to spend another half season being duped and used by Rumple. I CANNOT EVEN.
ALL OF THIS. EVERY LAST BIT OF IT. I’m pretty angry right now and trying to find various outlets to vent. GGGRRRRRRR
When you really think about it….what did Neal die for? For his father to remain a manipulative, lying monster…for the mother of his child/true love to move on with the man that stole away his mother….for his son to never get to know a true father/son relationship…..for his memory to be tarnished and his body to continuously roll over in his grave….What did Neal die for?
Adam and Eddy…are they this crazy or just plain stupid?

ParticipantRobin & the Charmings get Worst Parents in the World (along with Cora, Papa Jones, and Malcolm…) awards for first banishing Zelena and then abandoning three children (two infants! and one under the age of 6!) to go to the underworld…so that the fairies can raise them while they’re gone? I mean…what?
In Robin and Regina’s defense….Zelena point blank said she would raise their daughter to be wicked, gleefully hoping they were heading toward their death. And also, they can’t really leave the town defenseless against Zelena who seemed quite certain she’d be taking over. Sending Zelena back to Oz was the best option for now….maybe it’ll teach her a lesson that hopefully she’ll learn by the time Regina summons her back, or if she finds her way back on her own.
But as for leaving Roland, Baby Hood, and Baby Snowflake…yeah…I agree with you. What parent leaves their child to take a field trip to the Underworld.

ParticipantAnother thing that hurts about Rumple becoming the Dark One again is that he chose to do so as a mere mortal man. This wasn’t Rumple with the darkness inside him manipulating him. He 100% willingly chose to go that route all on his own.
Then I guess this is the path he takes…..I think we may need to consider the possibility guys that there may not be redemption for Rumplestilskin.
Overall I feel as though the show invited me over for dinner, laid out a feast before me, gave me a couple crumbs, then threw all the food into the trash. And then set the trash can on fire.
Best analogy ever?
More like best post ever posted in the forums! (Gives flowers and balloons to @Sapphire) That summary sums up pretty much everything about the show.
Pretty much safe to say that we were so razzle dazzled by seeing Rumple taking the first steps to redemption that we never saw Adam and Eddy creeping up behind us to snatch the rug from under us. (Starts pouring drinks) Who needs a drink?

And this wasn’t mere mortal Rumple worried about Bae. This was mere mortal Rumple who really just wants his power back.

ParticipantI don’t know that I have ever been more glad for three months from this show than I am after tonight.
THIS! A nice break from the madness of this show is truly needed right now.

ParticipantNobody, NOBODY wanted this to happen. They went as dark as they could with Rumple all last Season, to the point where his heart was dying. Then they go through all the trouble of making Rumple a hero this half of the Season, only to backpeddal completely? What we fans really wanted was to see Rumple’s character continue to develop without magic as a crutch. Making him the Dark One again undones all of that completely. To add salt to the wounds, Belle takes him back JUST before it was revealed he reverted back. Not to mention, wasn’t the entire point of this storyarc to destroy the Dark One once and for all? The only “good reason” I could think of for all of this is if the writers want Rumple to willingly give up his powers the next time around. But is that what the writers honestly want to do? We all fear they really did this because they prefer writing Rumple as a villain, and would prefer to continue going that route.
Like I said…at this point I seriously question…is redemption even what Rumpelstilskin truly want? After everything he’s done and been through….when the darkness was literally killing him, is this path truly one he wants to take?
The only chance I see of Rumple making ANY form of a turnaround would be if by some miracle, his own father Peter Pan manages to talk some sense into him. Pan is where it truly all started with Rumple, maybe that’s what it takes to end this once and for all.
