Adam and Eddy have lost it….how can you tell the Merlin & Camelot Mythology without showing Morgana…..that’s like having green eggs without the ham!

After all, it has been revealed in both timelines that the king is not as noble as he may seem, having pinched the crimson toadstool from Charming during a Camelot quest and now pulling the wool over the Storybrookers’ eyes, even if it means sacrificing the occasional pawn along the way. “It’s a tricky one,” Kitsis noted, “because you can tell that Arthur and Charming would be best friends in another world. But Arthur is doing what he thinks is best for his kingdom, and Charming has to do what’s best for his family, and that’s going to put them at odds.” Added Horowitz, “Arthur isn’t a villain in the pure sense of villains that we’ve had before. What we saw is what we’ll continue to see — a man who’s really conflicted and is driven by doing what he thinks is right, and what he thinks is his destiny.”

Wait, what? When was that said? I must have missed it.

The flame of the torch Arthur and Charming were carrying around apparently came from the Burning Bush.

How did I not catch that????!!!! How did they….soo….who took a visit to Egypt and managed to get the fire from the Burning Bush? #QuestionsWe’llNeverKnowTheAnswerTo

I don’t get this promo at all.

The only thing that caught my interest was seeing Snow, Lancelot, and David square up against Arthur….everything else just got an eye roll.

The bond was neat and you can tell it was authentic despite Arthur’s shadiness….however, why would you make David a Knight of the Round Table when you know he has to leave?

I figure the only thing that will set Merlin free (assuming he really is in there) is the dagger. Arthurs wants the dagger. If they had gotten the toadstool, theyd have been able to spek to merlin and he’d tell them Arthur trapped him in the tree or something and Arthur doesn’t want that. What he wants is the dagger to be used to he can steal it and not actually release merlin. He went on the trip to ensure the toadstool doesn’t arrive to Camelot.

My guess is that Merlin and Arthur came at odds about how Arthur should be leading Camelot. Merlin was traditionally Arthur’s mentor and adviser. However, Arthur could have grown too arrogant and egotistical to continue to listen to Merlin.

But how could Merlin, the Original Magic, The Head Hancho, The Common Denominator, The Wiz, The Chief, The King of Magic….be sealed away into a tree by a peasant turned King Arthur????!!!!!!!!! That’s the only thing that doesn’t add up to me unless Arthur had Morgana Le Fay’s help.

I’m feeling mixed about this episode, but it was definetly interesting.

    Liked:

Regina’s red dress…Lana slays the fashion every episode.

The teamwork we saw at the beginning where the family was working together in Camelot to find a solution.

Arthur and David’s “bromance” along with Robin and Hook’s “bromance” was fun to watch and actually at few scenes, funny.

We were right folks…Arthur is shady.

Regina taking away Zelena’s voice at the snap of her fingers.

Belle getting all excited for Rumple waking up!

That Hood-Mills Family Shot with Robin, Regina, and Henry….loved it!

Did I mention the teamwork that the CharMillsStilskins are doing…they’ve become a family! AWW!!!

    Mixed:

Ummm….I don’t know what to think of Regina threatening Zelena, and berating her for playing the victim because despite Zelena doing what she did, I hope Regina, Hook, or Rumplestilskin remember all the constant “Villains don’t get happy endings” they’ve thrown into the air. It just felt a little like the pot was calling the kettle black to me, and I hope Adam and Eddy realize that that doesn’t work….and despite however way the child got here, that baby is still Zelena’s, so to outright take it from her would be “villainous” and I hope Regina realizes this. and changes her mind.

Say what you will, I believe that in Camelot, that Regina and Zelena had a come to Jesus meeting at some point, and managed to actually try to form a sisterhood….they just don’t remember it.

    Disliked:

    The unnecessary moments I guess.

Rumple cannot be a hero if he is still a coward…it’s going to be interesting to see the former Dark One powerless.

So congrats to all who called that Arthur was shady. Is the king really noble hearted or are there darker motivations? What does Arthur really want? Is he really villain? What else do you think he’s done that makes him a villain?

    Quote

What if Arthur and Mordred have been merged by Adam and Eddy? Definetly darker motivations, but he only thinks he’s doing what’s best for his kingdom, and doesn’t care how dark it may be.
