So EverAfter BrazilCon went excellent….OutlawQueen, CaptainSwan, and SwanQueen actually managed to get along and even bond over their shared love for the cast! Lana, Sean, and Bex were literally backstage crying because of how great a time they were having! Lana and Bex had a Wicked vs Evil Dance Off, Lana kissed Bex, Fred kissed Lana, Sean, & Colin, Lana and Sean sung songs, Lana danced the Samba with a fan, everyone went out for drinks and dinner afterward….to be honest…..it was the best Once Con ever done. If Brazil went this well, I’m hoping SDCC can be just as wonderful…making Sean and even Bex a series regular may do more good for OUAT than we thought.

I don’t think the barren potion will be undone by TLK especially as when Snow was given the barren potion by George, she had to drink the lake nostos water to reverse its effects. I suppose there is a way to reverse Regina’s barren-ness, I’d just prefer them not to……yet at the same time if Regina had the opportunity, it wouldn’t make sense for her not to do so.
I’m highly counting on Merlin undoing the effects of the barren potion as a reward for how hard Regina has worked in redeeming herself. The Author told Regina someone in high places was watching out for her, the reason Robin found Page 23, and the only person I can think of in high places is the Sorcerer.

So today at EverAfter Brazil Con, Lana Parrilla and Sean Maguire said that they wanted Regina and Robin to have a baby…..the only way I can see Adam and Eddy pulling that off while also dealing with Zelena’s baby is if Merlin undoes the barren potion effects on Regina in 5×11, and Regina gets pregnant in the Season 5 Finale, and then do a nine month timeskip for Season 6 Premiere, and just open with Regina giving birth. Only logical way for #OutlawQueen Baby to happen without it seeming too soon with #WickedOutlaw Baby.
I actually don’t want them to undo the barren potion as doing so implies that Regina had to be “fixed” so that she could have children and be happy. She and Robin could adopt (WickedOutlaw baby being the obvious choice, though if Zelena doesn’t at least try to keep the child, it would be a wasted opportunity). Since Snowing popped out a baby recently, along with Aurora, Cinderella, and hopefully a RumBelle baby in the future (as there would be something poetic about Rumple getting a second chance at being a dad and not screwing it up this time), I think it would be more fitting if Regina could represent adoptive parents and the joy that can be found from adopting a child rather than the whole “biological is best” sentimentality that seems to be running through the show. Regina is literally the only adoptive parent on the show where the outcome has turned out reasonably well.
Had Regina been barren under natural circumstances, I can see that and wholly agree with it. However, it was a magical occurrence that she had done without thinking it completely through….so I think a chance to right her wrong would be great for Regina. I believe Gepetto represents the adoptive parents more so, and Pinocchio turned out reasonably well.

The only way that works is if there is another time jump. A rather big one. ETA: wait do they mean S5 (the whole thing) or S5A?
I can see at least a six month time skip….though as for when the baby will be born, I’m willing to bet Season Finale at least.

You cannot tell Merlin without covering the Lancelot/Gwen/Arthur triangle. Hopefully he’s present day because surely Lancelot encountered Merlin, and may can lead the gang to him.

Technically JMo just clarified that Emma’s sacrifice was for the entire town, not just Regina. Something SwanQueens weren’t exactly too thrilled about having their grand moment taken away
And THAT is the biggest problem with OUAT. What is said vs what is shown. They often are completly out of line. Show don’t tell. The showed Emma sacrificing herself for Regina because Regina worked too hard to get her happy ending taken away. They showed Emma and Regina trading very long looks while the blackness took Emma. They showed Emma in Charming’s clothes and Regina in Snow’s. They showed all season long that Emma considers her and Regina to be alike in many way. That’s what they keep doing. So yeah, I’d have some Swen questions too after a whole season of bait.
And not just that, Jmo and lana actually bait as well, in fact , lana screamed Sq when she left the stage at paris and sign autographs to SQ fans with the line: Long Live SwanQueen, the fans didnt force her to write that, meaning she wrote that to BAIT the SQ fans. And lets be honest here, Lana is major at baiting SQ fans, maybe bc she wants to be at peace with them, bc is PR or bc she realises that she needs to pay attention to all her fans, no matter what they ship, or maybe all , but we cant deny that she does it.Just like many SF fans felt bait with the last epis when they suddenly remenber that Neal existed, and were expecting him to appear on the finale, to be shown that no neal,and to listen them stating he has to stay dead for like the million time. They do it to get Ratings, and in that way im sure they wont SQ fans rioting and stop seing, especially bc Sq fans have the biggest fan base.
True…out of all the shippings in OUAT, SQ may just be the biggest and definetly the most vocal.

Don’t forget the line “My happy ending isn’t with a man,”. Even though they sometimes go about it the wrong way, I sometimes do feel sorry for SQ because they are trying to catch fish that Adam and Eddy keep taking away. As someone above stated, had Neal still been on the show, I guarantee his story would be just as screwed as everyone else’s….Snowing are just boring, OutlawQueen is messy and borderline icky, CaptainSwan is uncomfortably suffocating, and Rumbelle are just screwed…..MRJ should be happy he got out when he did.
Though had MRJ still been on the show, a great story to tell would have been had the darkness tried to attach itself to Emma, but Neal used the dagger to attach it to himself…thus Season 5 could have been a real season parallel with Rumple seeing through Bae, how being the Dark One changed him, and paralleling past Rumple and Bae with Neal and Henry. Though with this show, you can’t have nice things, mostly due to the fact you risk upsetting a fandom.
What a shame all the ships, canon or not, just can’t co-exist within the Fandom without having to go to war with one another.

And whether or not it’s canon doesn’t matter since its the story that is being played on screen. After an entire season in which they were baited to the hilt, I’d have questions too. I’d want to know some stuff. I’d want some answers as well. It will never be romantic on screen but that doesn’t mean that the SQ ship–friendship or otherwise–can be so blatantly ignored after it was played to so heavily for an entire year.
Yeah. SQ, platonic or otherwise, has been heavily promoted. After all, Emma did just sacrifice herself to save Regina from becoming the next dark one after Regina has worked hard to fight that darkness in herself.

Dark Emma will be interesting for CS as TLK should theoretically break the curse since Emma would retain her memories and feelings (since Rumple did), however, Dark Emma can’t be solved too soon otherwise where’s the show which means a CS TLK likely won’t work so where would that leave CS?
It will work and it’ll happen in 511, which (unless they do a weird number thing) will be the 100th episode, a very big episode. Then the second half of S5 is something new–like it has been for two years now.
I’d wager the Original Dark One, Jafar, or the Black Fairy for 5B….if it’s not them, I’ve no clue because the only other villains Adam and Eddy haven’t used are Hades and Dr. Facilier. They’re running out of villains to kill.

Oh SDCC can’t get here fast enough…..Dark Emma just sounds like it’s going to be quite enjoyable to watch! Imagine the possibilities…..hopefully she’ll act as she would had the Shattered Sight curse affected her.
