ABC’s official press release has a header with info not mentioned in the rest of the press release:

Either A. Regina learns that Zelena is impersonating Marian…
Or B. Rumple is holding Robin Hood captive, thus blackmailing Regina into doing his bidding.

Just wondering if it’s “get” in the sense of “recognize and understand” rather than “receive”.
Probably the former rather than the latter since we know that they CAN “receive” happy endings. Ingrid got hers via sacrifice but had to realize that she had it all along with her sisters, Ursula got hers recently.
Also, Regina got what she thought was her happy ending (i.e. a cursed kingdom full of amnesiacs in which she ruled supreme while watching Snow White suffer). So, technically Regina as the Evil Queen, a full on villain, already received her happy ending, too. Of course, Regina the woman struggling for redemption, still thinks she’s yet to receive her happiness in full. However, what Regina may fail to realize is that her happiness has been right in front of her eyes the entire time in the form of Henry, if only she’d accept his love as being enough. The unconditional love of a child is the greatest gift Regina could ever hope to receive as a mother, arguably even greater than a romance.
Well…I think Regina does recognize Henry as part of her happy ending, but she knows that it’s more to her happy ending than just Henry. Like Regina said, she was perfectly happy with just Henry, but she was most happy with Henry, AND Robin and Roland. If you know there’s a chance you can have 100% Happily Ever After, why just settle for 50%?
And technically….Snow White’s HEA came at the expense of Regina’s potential HEA with Daniel…and Snow White’s Want for Emma to be completely good came at the expense of Maleficent’s HEA with Lily….so I wonder sometimes if the Villain’s HEA comes at the expense of the Heroes.

His whole “dark past” spiel is just the writers way to try and make him have more in common with Regina as they tried to ram OQ down the audience’s throats last season.
We haven’t seen any of his past Pre-Marian. Everything on this show is based on what the writers write. Robin being a grey character might be why they paired him with Regina, but is that bad? All the main couples on this show besides The Charmings were created by the OUAT writers. So they would all be ‘forced pairings’.

Knowing Adam and Eddy, Robin Hood was originally a villain who did bad things for selfish reasons….but some life changing, “aha” moments and he eventually became a thief who did bad things in the name of good, so I’ll say he’s more so caught between Hero and Anti-Hero! Robin Hood does not technically like the law…. 🙂

I think Robin Hood is a hero, as long as he abides by his code…which he threw in the trash when he knowingly, intentionally cheated on his frozen wife with Regina.
Ummm….he technically followed his code because he was going against it by not living by it, one of his codes were to live truthfully and honestly which he said so himself in 4×11 when he was talking to Regina about teaching Roland, and he recognized that he was basically going against his own code by staying with Marian, which would be living a lie, aka, against his code.
Marian was pronounced dead…in the real world or the EF, that would classify that marriage as being undone and Robin would be a widow. It’s not his fault Emma dragged Zel-Marian to the present.
Robin followed his heart which led him to Regina…thus he followed his code.

as Adam and Eddy said themselves that they changed their mind about her death a week after writing it, but still this would be another retcon.

D23: You told us last May that Zelena had died. And yet here comes Rebecca Mader back as the Wicked Witch. What gives?
Eddy: Apparently the quote, “The news of my death has been greatly exaggerated,” applies in this case.
Adam: From the perspective of our characters, she was dead. And from the perspective of our characters, she remains dead. Every now and then, we don’t pick our words with quite the exactitude we’d like.

And I’m 65% sure that Lana, Sean, & Rebecca knew about Zelena surviving, and eventually posing as Marian….It Explains The Photo They Took Last Year!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
