ParticipantGuys, they are supposed to be the heroes! They can’t swap out names for people they like less. That’s not very heroic. It reminds me of the end of season 2 when Regina was going to sacrifice herself and Henry pointed out that the heroes needed to find a way to save her even if she was once the evil queen. Zelena like it or not is family to Regina so I don’t think they will leave her trapped there. Banishing her to Oz is one thing, keeping her permanently in the UW is another.
Supposed to be heroes is key. They are SUPPOSED to be. And one of the biggest themes this season so far is that morality is relative (shoot, that’s one of the biggest themes of the SERIES) and we are told time and time again that the FAMILY matters more than anything else. No one cares about the peasants or the minor baddies, just the little CharMillStiltskin clan. Why should I expect them to take the moral high ground now when they usually don’t if it means keeping their insular little gang together?
Preach!

Unfortunately if you’re not a member of that dysfunctional family, you’re on the ever long waiting list for “saving”.

ParticipantTo me this is obvious. It’s the same way they get around everything. When they kill Hades, everything he has done will no longer be. All the souls will likely be freed as well. It may be that simple. Killing him will be challenging, but once it’s done, I feel like so many things will become easy.
It does sound simple except that they’ve driven home the point that Hades is a God…those thingys are notoriously hard to kill. Of Emma does it, I’m all for it (cosmic storytelling and all) but if it’s not then I’ve got some problems.
But I don’t really think they can kill Hades…he’s pretty convinced of that. In most legends, only a God can kill another God. I get Emma is the Savior and all that, but she’s not technically a God….it probably would have been more fitting for Demi-God Hercules to have been the one to do his uncle in, but he’s off in Mount Olympus.
Maybe Hercules will get his father Zeus to come down and handle Hades?

ParticipantSo in this episode, Hades/Zelena team up will be like Cora/Regina team up in Season 2B. Just a backslide for Zelena who was recently making progress, but ultimately it’s going to be a reunion with Cora, who will manage to save both of her daughters by convincing Zelena of the dangers of being with Hades. And by reuniting and mending the relationships with and between her daughters, Cora will have finished her unfinished business and will then proceed to pass over into the happier afterlife.

ParticipantAlthough I ship Ruby/Mulan more….it would be an injustice if Dorothy never gets to meet Granny, who I’m sure is waiting to give her “the talk”. And I need for them to bring back Aunt Em, and set up a Diner Off with Granny….poor Dorothy and Ruby would be caught in a war between their respective guardians! XD

ParticipantFinally got around to rewatching this episode! The first time, I had family visiting and I barely hear the conversations due to my noisy family! Anyway…let’s begin.
Rating: 7/10
It was a pretty good episode.
Liked:
Zelena! This is a witch who does what she does, and it is what it is! Bex is brilliant once again.
Cruella….I missed her! And with one scene, Victoria does it again! “Tata Darlings” Ha!
Sassy Blind Witch!!!
Aunt Em was competition for the Blind Witch, now I hope she gets out of the River of Lost Souls because now I want an extreme competition between Granny and Aunt Em!!!! XD
That sisterly talk Regina had with Zelena was so nice…minus her using Baby Greenbean against her. But the odds of Regina being the one to give Zelena a pep talk.
I’m really shipping Hades with Zelena, but I’m so nervous he’s going to turn on her or something!
Zelena is finally learning to do the right thing!
Ruby/Dorothy/Mulan are officially the Three Musketeer Witch Hunters! It was definetly interesting, though I really hate Mulan playing third wheel again!
Snow making the right decision in the end by going back to be with her son.
Belle playing Rumple at his own game by pricking her finger, and sending herself into a sleeping curse knowing that she can have her cake and eat it too by having him save her with TLK, breaking his Dark One Curse, and saving their baby!
Mixed:
Ruby Slippers: If it wasn’t for Mulan/Ruby before hand, I could have gotten on board with this ship. Then again it may just be because of my dislike for the character of Dorothy as a whole, not the OUAT version, but all Dorothies….as a child, I never really got why a girl would just kill someone’s sister, steal said sister’s shoes and refuses to give them to the other sister, and then goes and kills the other sister, and just goes back home like she didn’t just commit accidental murder, theft, and premeditated murder.
But at least the actress was more enjoyable in this episode, though it was fast, the relationship was definetly believable. I just really preferred Mulan/Ruby over Ruby Slippers….but it will do.
So we can just scratch off names now? That’s what we can do now? Wow Adam and Eddy…just wow. I just…I just can’t.
Disliked:
I really felt Mulan kind of got side lined a little….it was almost Philora all over again! At least she didn’t have feelings for Ruby, but boy did they lead us on last year that Mulan/Ruby was where they were going. I’m even more convinced that the tweet of rage Jamie put on twitter was actually about Adam and Eddy swapping out Mulan for Dorothy to be Ruby’s TL thus robbing Mulan’s character of promised story continuity.

Ummm….Regina, you have been hanging around those “heroes” for far too long. No need in getting hypocritical and using Zelena’s baby as bait to do your and your family’s will. It just brought back bad memories of when Emma & Snowing kinda used Henry against Regina…..I just really wasn’t feeling that.

ParticipantI think that this will ultimately be Rumple’s choice to either let go of the darkness forever or finally become the man he needs to be for himself and his child. Belle really is trying to kill two birds with one stone with this one, not only stop Hades but also get Rumple to let go of that dark magic once and for all.

Just saw The Jungle Book with the family, and people let me tell you…that is so far the BEST MOVIE of 2016!!! If Walt Disney had rolled over in his grave, he’s definetly back on his back now with a smile on his face! I teared up like a baby, and cried during most of it! The kids loved it, and for a split second, I know Roger got teary eyed with that Bare Necessities Song/Scene….he swears up and down he didn’t shed a tear, but I know I saw his eyes glimmer a little, heck, the song is one of his favorite Disney songs! The CGI was phenomenal and the characters were remarkably similar to their cartoon counterparts, with a little spice added to them! Bill Murray was a fantastic Baloo, who is the most hilarious character! And whoever played Mowgli, I adored that little boy, he did such a great job! Overall, I highly recommend it and give it a 10/10! Give all the Oscars to this movie!

ParticipantMy theory is that Zelena stole the slippers from Dorothy, and that’s how she escaped from Oz. Snow and Ruby will end up using the slippers to return to Storybrooke themselves. Or Snow will drop Ruby off back in Oz, and then go back to Storybrooke on her own. Either way, I think we know how Snow leaves the Underworld now.
But…Snow’s name is written on the gravestone….she can’t leave without resolving that can she? Unless the Silver Slippers magic is strong enough to wipe their names off.
