Some of that still doesn’t make sense. Why does Regina have a hole in her heart as a child?
Well, she grew up with a cowardly father and a literal “heartless” mother….who did Regina really have as a child?

There are three different ways I could see this flashback playing out: 1) Young Regina and Young Zelena don’t meet, but their flashbacks parallel one another. Would be the most logical route to go, but this is OUAT, so that means maybe not. 2) Young Regina and Young Zelena meet, but without realizing that they’re sisters. 3) Young Regina and Young Zelena, find out that they’re sisters, and then Cora erases their memories of this encounter.
I think number 3 is the most probable….it’s the quickest way to mend Regina and Zelena’s strained relationship if they had already met under better circumstances that had only been wiped from their memories by Cora.
I think I’ve got a small idea…when Regina was younger, she got swept up by a magical tornado that could have been accidently conjured by either herself, which would explain her initial dislike of magic, or by a lonely Zelena who unknowingly caused it from Oz. Anyway it drops Regina off in Oz, and is found by Zelena, or if they want to keep up with some form of original Oz Storytelling…Regina could have accidently killed the Wicked Witch of the East and needs Zelena help to get out of Oz before she is found out thus being the sister’s first adventure. Of course with Rumple’s help, Cora arrives in Oz to get her daughter and meets Zelena. Maybe Cora needed to find a way to protect her first born, the one she knew Rumple really wanted, and erased Zelena and Regina’s memories of each other, took Regina and left Oz.

I wonder if that means Barbara is coming back for 519
It started with Cora, it’s only fitting for Cora to finish it. I would love for Cora to hold an intervention between her daughters…just them and them alone. Finally an episode I have to look forward to…I have little hope, but something is better than nothing!

The fault that is in the split season is like @RumplesGirl said, Adam and Eddy focus on the shiny things rather than their plot. Split seasons work with shows like TWD or Shonda Rhimes Thursdays because they actually focus on their plot rather than focusing on the unimportant things and catering to ships.

It’s going to be the Wizard of Oz storyline with a twist probably….Dorothy and her fellow witch hunters are coming to SB to finish the job on Zelena, and Regina comes to her sister’s defense and rescue. The best way to bring two enemies together is by putting them both in the same life threatening situation that forces them to work together, thus overcoming their differences and learning something new along the way about each other.

Definetly agree that it was always supposed to have been SwanFire but the fanservice won out in the end….MRJ wasn’t handsome enough (The Lies!)….Neal left Emma in jail (It was to get her home so she can fulfill her destiny) …. Neal was the son of the Dark One (Well, Emma eventually became the dark one)….the fans used whatever excuse they could find, and twisted it to make Neal look like the bad guy, and although we see who Neal really was and the true love he had for Emma…unfortunately the antis won in the end.
Hook is just…he’s kinda out of place. After Neverland, he and Tinkerbelle could have just ended up together, and sailed around the New World, guest starring every now and then whenever Colin and Rose were available…..but now, Hook is just there to be Emma’s Love Interest…like a dangling piece of fat off of a Ham that was supposed to have been cut off but was ignored. And they tried to give him his own storyline….BY GIVING EMMA’S STORYLINE TO HIM! (Flips Table) This only proved that in order to give an out of place character some story is by stealing it away from the Main Cast.
Same situation so far with Robin Hood…I mean we know he’s Regina’s soul mate, but he just seems to be nothing but a love interest, there only for a ship. He has no story besides this horrid Baby Pistachio one. And quite frankly I’m getting frustrated with it…we’ve seen Robin do nothing but shoot a few arrows and that’s it. Sure he saved Regina’s life in Camelot, but he became a damsel….Geez Luis Adam and Eddy, this is freaking Robin Hood….DO HIM SOME JUSTICE!!!!
Snowing…dear God the Snowing! I really have nothing else to say about them! And Rumple, we’ll deal with you later. Sweet Belle….Emilie De Ravin is seriously underused and they treat Belle like she’s the walking encyclopedia babysitter! Even Velma from Scooby Doo got in on the action every once and a while! Poor Henry has just been shoved to the side…..and I don’t care what they say, Season 1 Regina and Emma WOULD NOT let their thirteen year old son go to Hell with them!
Sorry for the little rant…just had to get that off my chest!
I meant they don’t have any plans for him now after they killed him off and replaced him with Hook.
A and E stopped thinking long term right around 3×11. Since then it’s been thinking in terms of the arc alone with each new arc resetting the characters to some sort of zero (except, maybe, Regina). Emma, certainly.
I truly have no idea whose the biggest victim on this show?
Ginny and Josh who have been dumbed down and character assassinated to the point of no return.
JMo and Lana who are constantly attacked by fans from all sorts of ships whenever they don’t pay them any attention, and whose characters have been drastically twisted to fit their ships, and are being dealt the worst storylines. (Having your storyline stolen to give to your on screen boyfriend, and your sister getting pregnant by your soul mate.)
Bobby whose character is borderline unforgivable because he has backslid more times than Michael Jackson moonwalked, and will so far never find a true redemption storyline.
Emilie & Jared who have been constantly shoved to the side, only called forward for one scene out of the entire episode, that’s if they get one at all.
Colin and Sean who are there simply to appease fans and be love interests with no true stories of their own to tell.
Bex is really the only one whose so far fair in this. She’s having a blast no matter what Zelena’s doing!
