ParticipantI don’t think I have a problem with emma not being in the show for this episode though I don’t think she is dumb, and I love Henry. My reasoning is that they have already announced that Colin is now going to be a series regular so they are going to need an episode that shows how he connects to the story and obviously Rumple has a lot to do with it and Emma does not so they don’t need her…As long as its giving us background information that is needed. Also we know in ep. 6 we are going to be getting lots of info on her background so its not like there are going to be a lot of episodes without her…

ParticipantMaybe Lancelot is her adopted brother if her mother is the the Lady of the Lake? It’s a popular theory out there..

ParticipantI agree with you’re assesment of him, at least from what I have seen thus far, and a part of me also feels sorry for him too. From a leader’s perspective I almost felt like Charming was a bit selfish in abandoning his responsibilities to his people. Now that he is a leader I wonder if he will be able to forgive King George as Snow did Regina? At the very least I can understand his anger, maybe even a little better than Regina’s though “We Are Both” was quite enlightening.

Participanti like that idea too..I am hoping it is either that or maybe something to do with the siren..

Participanti don’t think it is either, I saw one clip in the Canadian one where she asks him what he thinks he is doing after what he did to her, and I think Lancelot said what the king did to you. so I think as an apology he might be offering his services…at least I hope so..

ParticipantI would love to see that..

Participantwell I know he is supposed to have SW poisoned and from the promos for the next episode I am guessing it is done by Lancelot since he is supposed to be a mercenary-gun for hire type. Plus I think he really did love Charming’s brother. I want to know who his wife was and why he felt he had to make a deal with Rumple for his brother in the first place.. plus he could also be the greedy king from Rumple’s story, though I suppose Midas could be too..

ParticipantSo i think Lancelot and Snow’s complicated history may be that he was the one with who gave Snow the poison. i read in one of the many interviews or episode synopsis that George was supposed to poison SW or have her poisoned and Lancelot is supposed to be a sword for hire…and then he helps them take back the kingdom to redeem himself?

Participanti don’t know if he was made to do her bidding in FTL and that carried over to Storybrooke, and then he was no longer under her thumb once the curse was broken..I could see her wanting someone under her thumb as a doctor especially since Charming was in the hospital and she would want someone to keep a close watch over him that would be in her pocket so to speak. And what if after Daniel became the monster Regina wanted him to fix it or if he died again wanted Dr. frankie to try again? What if he refused because he didn’t want to risk the consequences again and he refused to practice medicene anymore? Then being made a doctor in Storybrooke would be a punishment…just because something may seem like a good thing to one person does not necessarily mean it is a good thing to someone else. Circumstances can change perspectives easily and lets face it there are a million different scenarios and circumstances that can happen especially when the players involved are the evil queen and Rumplestiltskin.
