Ok I kind of get what you are saying but to me when Hook decides to return to NL has no relevance to when bae returned to our world because Bae thought he was figuring out how to leave NL on his own but when he left NL was dependent on Pan, no one else. Pan was never going to let him leave until it was the right time for him to meet Emma and have Henry. Noone knew that Pan wanted Henry or for what reason except Pan. So the only reason that Bae would end up in any AU based on a what-if scenario before Emma was even born would almost definitely have to involve Pan, and since without Rumple there would not be a connection between them or most likely an evil queen because she probably would have ended up with Robin by that point otherwise, I think it has to be a Rumple decision but that is just my opinion and I do like things to be logical. Thus far the timeline has been fairly logical. Hook’s presence would also be explained if Rumple sacrificed himself to Pan because then Hook could move on out of revenge mode earlier and would probably want to try to be a father to Bae. Again this just makes a lot more sense to me if they are doing a what-if AU. Who knows tho?
[adrotate group="5"]zlfh4ParticipantHowever if you are talking about a situation where Bae is able to escape from NL earlier AND he decides to return to FTL instead then I could see that happening but my guess is that scenario would involve Rumple volunteering to stay in NL if Pan would let Bae go home or killing Pan earlier and sacrificing himself…
zlfh4ParticipantI like the idea of a what if AU but my main question is what choice is it? Because there aren’t that many scenarios that would explain Neal being there except if when, as Phee suggested, he returned to FTL instead of our world when he escaped Neverland.. However if this alternate universe is based on that decision that would mean that he would still have been 14 or 16 when he came back. Timeline wise it wouldn’t make since for him to be an adult before Emma is even born. We don’t know when he came back to our world exactly but we know it had to be after Emma was born because he had aged to maybe about 25 by the time they met and Emma was 17 or 18. This puts about 7 to 10 years between their ages, not 17 or 18 years. So whether he escaped from Neverland to return to FTL or our world no matter where he decided to go he still would have arrived in either world after her birth. So if Snow is pregnant with Emma it can’t be because of that particular decision. My guess is it is a what if AU based on a decision that Rumple makes, and it is a decision we are going to see in 3-11 in a flashback involving Bae, Rumple, and Pan. I have no idea what that decision will be but it will probably make us have even more sympathy for Rumple.
zlfh4ParticipantUm I hate to mention this but I read a couple of articles this morning stating that Wonderland is likely to be cancelled at the half-season mark which means if there is no back half of the season no jabberwocky. I hope it doesn’t happen but I thought everyone should be prepared just in case.
zlfh4ParticipantIt’s definitely Charming’s. I would recognize his behind anywhere.
zlfh4ParticipantHmm, I think I would like to see an episode entitled “An Awfully Big Adventure” for episode 10 and then “The Undoing” for the midseason finale…I think that would tie things up with a bit of a cliffhanger nicely.
zlfh4ParticipantI know I read somewhere in a recent interview that Adam and Eddie really want to do
Rapunzel so I can see them having this as a way to lead into it..
zlfh4ParticipantHe would kill Rumple and bring Henry to Pan, though he had no intention of following through with the part involving Henry.
zlfh4ParticipantSo I just finished watching Once Upon a Time in Wonderland today and I came up with exactly the same theory about Anastasia being both the Red Queen and Cinderella’s stepsister. Her cameo would definitely make more sense that way. Now this just popped into my head. I wonder if Grumpy’s cameo means we will get to see more of Nova because maybe the Blue Fairy used both her own tragic love story as well as Silvermist as examples for why fairies should not fall in love. I would love to see a scene in either show where Nova confronts the Blue Fairy about her role in Grumpy deciding not to run away with her. Then the Blue Fairy would share giving either her backstory or that of Silvermist. Personally I am far more curious about the Blue Fairy’s background than Silvermist’s. However I could see Silvermist and Nova meeting up at some point and then Sil would tell Nova that the Blue Fairy was right then tell her story. I think both stories combined would serve to persuade Nova not to pursue her feelings for Grumpy. So a completely random crackpot theory but I really want more info about fairies, especially the Blue Fairy. Sorry about getting off-topic but I was reading some of the Sneaky Fairy thread or one of them earlier.
