I believe Bae is Peter Pan & Henry’s father.

The motivation for J.M. Barrie writing Peter Pan was the death of his 13 year old brother. His brother died 2 days before his 14th birthday. Note that Bae was 14 when he disappeared.

Barrie called Peter and the children of Neverland `lost boys`. This was in reference to parents that had lost children to death, as his mother had. Note that Rumples ALWAYS refers to Bae as being `lost`.

Peter Pan and the other lost boys were caught between two worlds. Life & death. Note that Bae is caught between two worlds, magic & real world.

Bealfire’s childhood friend was named Morraine. There is a book series called The Wheel of Time. In it, one of the heroines name is Moraine and she wields a powerful magic called Balefire. Balefire power is that it can undo actions of the past. In LOST the writers referenced the series with the frozen wheel of time, hidden beneath the Island. This wheel allowed the Island to change locations.

In the Movie Hook, Peter leaves Neverland for Moira, Wendy’s grand-daughter. Another connection to the name Morraine.

The Blue Fairy instructs Bae to follow the magic bean wherever it leads him. This leads us to believe that he went to at least one other world before reaching ours.

Robert Carlyle has admitted that Rumples is several centuries old. So timeline for Bae going missing is many centuries as well, as he went through the vortex when Rumples first took power. The 1st and 2nd Ogre Wars also show us that time frame. This was long before Snow, PC, EQ, Gepetto, Jiminy, etc. So, considering that Bae is several centuries old, it would make sense if he landed in Neverland and remained 14 prior to coming to the real world.

Peter Pan would travel to the real world and bring children back to Neverland. Emma was an orphan, living in an orphanage. What if Peter traveled there looking for `lost boys` or another Mother for the Lost Boys like Wendy. Bae had a friend Morraine back in FTL. I believe a young Emma would have resembled Morraine in many ways. Perhaps Peter became quite taken with Emma and decided to stay. Perhaps Emma convinced him to stay, just as Wendy attempted to do in the original story. Perhaps he ended up in that same orphanage from 14 on, developed a friendship in their late teens or early 20’s. That could also bring into play the possibility of Bae, aka Peter Pan, being Henry`s father.

We now have Captain Hook in SB. K&H also stated that we would find out about Bae this season as we would about Henry`s father. Funny how they have brought Michael Raymond-James in, with a recurring role, and have been so secretive about his character. Let`s not forget how uncanny his resemblance is to Dylan Schmid, young Baelfire.

There are also too many similarities between Bae’s story and Peter’s. Bae lost his mother to Hook. Peter had no mother and tried to get Wendy to be mother to him and the Lost Boys. Who other than Rumple would want to avenge Milha’s desertion? Bae of course. Too many connections between the two stories. Rumple was going to use that missing magic bean to follow Bae but Hook used it instead. Makes sense that he would follow Bae’s path and that first stop for Bae was Neverland.

The Blue Fairy also talked about other Magic Beans that have gone missing. Hook & Milha’s story took place long before Rumple became the Dark One. Who’s to say that Hook or Milha didn’t take a bean that led them to Neverlan.

Recent spoilers have only convinced more. In an issue of TV Guide, Josh Dallas says this about Emma & Henry’s father: “there is a certain percentage of this man that Emma knows, and a certain part that she doesn’t. She had some sort of relationship with him, but there is an element of surprise for Emma as to the fullness of who this man is.” This would follow my theory of Peter Pan showing up at Emma’s orphanage at 14 and remaining for a number of years. She knows him as an adolescent/young adult from the orphanage but has no idea of his Fairy Tale character.

We now know that the mysterious man in New York City is named Neal Cassady. Neal Cassady is well known as the character Dean Moriarty in Jack Kelouac book On the Road. Throughout that journey, Dean is searching for his lost father. Just as Neal Cassady did the same throughout his whole life.

We also know about his filmed documentary called Magic Trip, in which he was the bus driver. This could definitely be relating back to Bae’s magic trip via the magic bean.

We see Neal, standing outside his New York apartment, window wide open with the wind blowing through. Peter Pan would sit outside the Darling’s window and listen to the stories being read to the children.

There are many other clues to this theory that members have added in other posts on this thread.

So, I believe it’s a very real possibility.
