Something I’ve been thinking about is what if Peter Pan is like an official position in Neverland? Kinda like Jacob in LOST. There could be many different Pans for different generations or something. Pan and Neverland have a special relationship, so maybe Neverland chooses new Pans or something.
Baelfire may have been Peter Pan for a while, but gave it up when he left Neverland for good.
If this theory is right, I’d be willing to bet that Henry might go on to be Peter Pan, following in his father’s footsteps.
what do you think?

It’s all in the way K&H say things – their exact words.
What they say can be so easily misinterpreted. Not only that, but they do love to play with technicalities. So for example, the stuff about Greg not lying to Emma because he expected to see something unusual. Or that Regina did not force herself on Graham. Those were explanations after the show aired, but if that is how they think when answering prospective questions then they may not lie but perhaps they don’t mind being really misleading.

The lost boys look frightful, filthy, and starving. Not like the young and carefree boys having fun adventures around Neverland. I’ve read some theories about NL being the place where the Wraith takes its captured souls, so that would line up for Neverland being dark and evil.
There’s a Gothic Fairy tale adaption of Peter Pan called The Child Theif by Brom. Here’s the link. http://www.amazon.com/The-Child-Thief-A-Novel/dp/0061671347/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1365428358&sr=8-1&keywords=the+child+thief
Basically, Peter steals children away from their homes and brings them to Neverland to fight in a war against… well, lets just say pirates. The story is fun, but it’s not the childhood story you love. It’s dark, dangerous, and disgusting at times. But i loved it. I get pretty engrossed in all Peter Pan mythology.

As soon as I heard they were casting for Felix, I thought the ame thing.
Not only that, but they do love to play with technicalities.
Exactly!
Also, I find the statement from the interviewers a bit odd since K&H are on record as saying they don’t pay attention to fan boards.

That’s a new one to me, didn’t they mention they briefly considered not having Bae be Henry’s father because the fans already figured that out?

What they say can be so easily misinterpreted.Look how many people thought that Neal was not Pan simply because K&H said we wouldn’t see him this season.
Agreed, Gypsy. *high five*
Just recently we were told by Barbara Barnett in an interview summary that “Her” was insignificant because “Jane said so”. Look what happened there. It was someone’s inference. Interpretation. This recent one saying, “Oh, K&H probably included Peter Pan in their generalization” and furthermore interpreting their generalization as NO part of ANY theory is right.. I’d say its all up for interpretation.
I’m sure I’ll love whatever they do , but I’m not ready to give it up just yet! 🙂 even if I do seem crazy to the rest of the fandom!! Haha. I’d believe it if it was a straight out or gave more clues than that. But IMO its still possible.Keeper Nealfire's/Bae's scarf, Henry and Neal's bribery ice cream sundae, Baelfire's sword, the coconut map, and more.

Yes, this possibility has been mentioned a few times in various forum threads lately. I found it intriguing that the god Pan (who Barrie partially named the character after) wasn’t always just a singular being. Would be interesting if they played on that and made “Pan” a title or position that several different people have held throughout the history of NL.

In present-day London, there is a statue of Peter Pan located in Kensington Gardens. That is also the setting of J.M. Barrie’s novel Peter Pan in Kensington Gardens, in which a runaway infant Peter lives amongst the fairies, who eventually take him to Neverland. It’s no coincidence that young Baelfire’s first destination was also Kensington Gardens. That alone is very convincing evidence that Baelfire eventually becomes Peter Pan.
