THIS EPISODE!!! I did not think we could get better than last sunday, but this episode!!!!!!!!!!!! THE FEELS ARE OVERTAKING ME! OUTLAW QUEEN!!! WICKEDSISTERS!!!! BABY SNOWFLAKE!
I finally understand the parallel of this episode….Glinda tries to save Zelena from her wickedness in past, and present….Regina taking Zelena’s magic could potentially help her detox from her wickedness….
Robin taking Regina’s heart, and turning her magic pure!!! OUTLAW QUEEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Regina stopping Zelena, but also saving her life!!!!!! WICKEDSISTERS!!!
There maybe hope for these sisters to find their way to a sisterly friendship after all…(cough) Season 4 (cough)

Trying to recall what Glinda said, now, about the magic. Just that it was born of true love? I took that to mean the purveyor was born of true love, but perhaps not. Regina does look over at Robin right before she busts out the white light magic, so I guess it was motivated by her true love? How strange. I didn’t find it any more OOC than the Charmings enacting the dark curse, or having a guy who had spent his life running from dark magic saying “To hell with the price.” At least this could be classified as character development, not just utter stupidity.
And poor Emma. She came back from a “pretty good” life in NYC to lose her child’s father, and have her child and baby brother nearly killed, while doing very little to actually effect events. If this season is supposed to be a journey for Emma to find her home, I sure don’t see these events endearing her to Storybrooke. Honestly confused on what story the writers are trying to tell with that girl. It just gets more depressing. “Only you can break the curse, defeat the witch, and save the town, with your awesome magical powers. Psych! Nevermind, we actually meant Henry’s OTHER Mom…”
Glinda also said that once she gave Zelena the necklace, all of her magic became stored there, so once it’s off I think she might indeed be magic-less.
Cause this story needs some mending & a better happy ending...
May 3, 2014 at 5:17 pm #266009CindersParticipantGlinda said she gave Zelena the pendant to help focus her magic. Her magic has resided in the pendant ever since.
Didn’t Zelena learn anything from her sister? Never bring your real pendant to a fight. She shoulda worn a fake, and shoved the real one inside her boot. Plus, protection spell.May 3, 2014 at 5:38 pm #266013SlurpeezParticipantHate to be the bearer of bad news, but Maid Marian is back in 3×22, which means there is going to be trouble in paradise for Regina and Robin very soon. So enjoy Regina and Robin while they’re together, but as with most couples on this show, they’re likely going to experience separation.

Glinda said that only LIGHT magic can defeat Zelena and Snowing instantly jumped to “That’s Emma!” Cause..LOGIC

I agree! she’s the SAVIOR. And she neither broke the curse nor defeated Zelena. She’s gotta do SOMETHING before this season ends, right??
"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"May 3, 2014 at 6:32 pm #266026HappyEndingsSpectatorYou know if it only required light magic then why didn’t Glinda stop her, Oh that’s right she didn’t have the power to nor did the BF or Tink. Even Regina couldn’t go through the door because she had revenge on her heart but that all went away in 4 days in SB with RH, and no Heart. After all Regina had a whole year in FTL with RH but never had gotten light magic huh. Must have been Henry’s kiss that changed her huh 🙁

I’m bothered by all this as well.
Glinda can’t stop Zelena despite being Light Magic because she’s not powerful enough.
Regina doesn’t have her heart but somehow causes pure light magic?
And what has Emma done this season besides go on a lot of walks in the woods and been really indecisive about her future??

Must I bring this picture back up from our Season 3 Season Finale? OUTLAW QUEEN HAPPILY EVER AFTER!

May 3, 2014 at 7:08 pm #266031CindersParticipantI love that Regina defeats Zelena just because, we’ll, just because.
However, it’s the phrase “purveyor of the strongest light magic” that doesn’t sit right.
First, because I really wanted Blue, Tink, Glinda, or some other good guy to be the purveyor of the strongest light magic. Someone inherently good and light.
But also, when someone on this show is depicted as being the strongest in any type of magic, be it witch, sorcerer, wizard, fairy, light magic or dark, the very next season brings a new guy who has the strongest different kind of magic. And every magical whatever has always been defeated in some way by a different magical
Whatever. So it’s hard to tell what, or who really is the strongest. (Ok snow, we know, love is the strongest magic. Stop reminding us)May 3, 2014 at 7:13 pm #266032WickedRegalParticipant"If you go as far as you can see...you will then see enough to go even further." - Finn Balor
