I proposed a total crack theory in chat, that Zelena recognises the name Gale because it’s also Walsh’s surname, and he’s Dorothy’s long lost dad. 😛

That was my first thought too, but she’s wearing it in the EF and she is green in those scenes!
I can’t watch the clips at work, but IIRC from the promo pics, Zelena’s necklace in past Oz is still white/clear, right? If so I’d say something happens this episode and her envy takes over the necklace, which is why it’s green now instead of the same as Glinda’s.

So a “gale” is wind/water. One the WW causes, the other can destroy her. No wonder she looked nervous.
Is it possible Emma and Hook have gone to get Dorothy? If the group has figured out that maybe Dorothy is able to help destroy Zelena they might have sent Emma to find her.
As for the necklace, I think its a flashback. Glinda said previously that she gave Zelena the necklace to store her magic. So if the sneak peek with DG is when Glinda and Zelena just became friends maybe the necklace is clear because Zelena hasn’t stored her magic in it yet. Her magic always seems to be green ie. with the cursed potion and when she disappears and what not.
