My first impression was: What the froyo?! They’re giving away half the story! But then I thought again and honestly I doubt they’d release this if there wasn’t more to it than that. And yay for Regina! I was rooting for her so hard from the start. Although I’m not sure exactly where they’re going with putting the focus on Regina rather than Emma. Regina broke the curse and Regina took away Zelena’s necklace/magic(?) Emma didn’t really do a whole lot of ‘saviouring” since she got to SB. I can only assume that Emma’s role will be fulfilled later on, cause I’d find it rather anticlimactic if this was it.

Zelena should still have magic, even without her necklace. She doesn’t need it to be magical. So, I suspect there is something right after this scene in which Zelena tries to hurt the gang with her magic and then Emma has to step in.

Especially since, if this is it, that’s something they could have done in the Enchanted Forest! If Regina is capable of doing the white magic and pulling off a necklace then the Dark Curse really is totally pointless.

Hulu posts spoilerly clips from the episodes after they air, but seems like this is a clip that leaked out early. Hulu also has it specifically labeled as an “except”, not a “sneak peek.”
So it would be favourable for someone else to have the Dagger instead? The fact of it is that SOMEONE has to have custody of that thing, and whoever that someone is, will have the ability to control him if they so desire. Bobby has said that the farther away from Belle that Rumple is, he more lost he is. If they’re back together, he should be pretty centered, he wouldn’t be a loose cannon, he’d be striving to be the best version of himself, which is what Belle inspires in him. But he’s no angel, and he has his weaknesses, and I daresay he wouldn’t trust himself with the Dagger right now even if they did offer to give it back to him. So it’s gotta go to SOMEONE. Someone Rumple trusts to not abuse the power that comes along with it. Someone the whole town trusts to not abuse the power that comes along with it. I think Belle is the ideal candidate. She wouldn’t actively USE it to stop him from killing Zelena. He’d hold off on killing Zelena of his own accord because he knows that Belle trusts him to not kill Zelena and he’s trying to be a good person because that’s just how Belle inspires him.
No, I don’t believe anyone should have the dagger except Rumpel. I would be beyond disgusted with anyone who would even think of keeping it. He spent a year with a lunatic holding his dagger and now, when finaly her control over him is broken the dagger is once again in the hands of someone else, worse even his family. If they aren’t going to use it at all, why have it in the first place. I wouldn’t like anyone having that kind of power over me. What kind of relationship would Rumpelstiltskin and Belle have if she had the thing that controls him in her hands. And even if he just gave Belle the dagger I don’t believe that would be smart. 1. once again, what kind of relatiohship is that and 2. anyone who wanted to control Rumpel again would go right after her to make her give them the dagger. People are given free will for a reason. If Rumpel just held of on being evil because she had his dagger, how can he really be good. Reminds me of the conversation Regina and Mr. Gold had in “Welcome to Storybrooke” when she was angry that everyone in town is doing everything she wanted. She said: ” They do it because they have to, not because they want to. It’s not real.” That’s how I feel here.
I’m happy Regina is using light magic but why didn’t Emma use her magic? Also, Zelena deserves to be killed by Rumple after what she did to Neal. Their leniency is going to come back and bight them. Tell me they at least find a way to block Zelena’s powers, otherwise this isn’t over and Zelena will still find a way to get at least some of what she wants.

I feel like there has to be something we’re missing, cause this was way too easy. Regina somehow manages to shoot some white light out of her hands and then rips off a necklace. I mean, talk about anticlimactic.
Agreed, this all felt too easy which is why I think there is going to be a round two and that Zelena will still enact this time turning spell. Something must happen to turn back time, since by 3×22 Emma is back in FTL wearing peasants’ clothing.
