I think Emma is still mourning Neal.
No, Emma is concerned about Regina. It has nothing to do with Neal. Neal is a non entity. Even baby Snowflake isn’t going to be called that anymore. they’ll come up with some nickname for him. That line from charming last night was the writers being like, “oh people didn’t like that we named him Neal…”

that is the thing in Frozen was Anna that was frozen, that unfrozen herself by making a act of TL, so if they intend to do it with CS, has to be Emma making the act towards Hook. About Emma walls, will be broken soon especially bc all spoiler pics of next epis, where Emma kisses hook, in several epis, or goes on a date with him, although, now i wonder if Emma falling in Hook talk because she feels guilty bc Hook gave up his ship, his house for her, and since feels something for him and Neal is dead, she also thinks must compensate him for what he did, and that is a terrible message. Or is that she is Scared, and with my lack of hope in this show, will be bc she lost all her exs( at least the most important, Graham, Walsh and Neal), and in some sort of lame story she is scare to get close to hook, bc he can die, but probably is like the act of TL, will show her that they are meant to be, and there will be more crap to solve until the end of season( if this is the finale one) or until the show ends( if there are more seasons). Either way, all this possibilities, just make me ugh.

Sadly, I’m inclined to agree. This whole ‘we should’ve called him Baelfire’ is a total meta from the writers in response to the negative feedback of calling Emma’s brother Neal. However, what the writers fail to understand is WHY there is negative feedback. They think it’s because Neal doesn’t sound very regal like Baelfire does. Or the writers think the character of Neal was so widely disliked and so better to have named him Prince Baelfire instead. While that may be true of certain fans who hated adult Neal, but liked kid Baelfire, that is not the entire story.
What the writers still seem not to grasp is that actual fans of Neal don’t consider it a homage to the man who was Henry’s father and Emma’s true love. It was a total discredit to Nealfire, the man with whom Emma had a romance and a child, to turn him into her brother. It was a total Princess Leia and Luke Skywalker thing which is just beyond awkward. It doesn’t matter whether the baby is named Neal or Baelfire, because both names refer to the same character, who was the father of Emma’s child. It’s also like a condescending pat on the head from the writers, who think that by giving us a new character named Neal that will somehow make up for the fact that they killed Neal Cassidy. No, sirs, it will not.

People who lurk this thread must be like, this people gets angry bc neal is not mentioned, or bc he is mentioned, but there is one thing, both are making us angry, bc the not mention makes his importance close to zero, and he was so important to the show myth, a little credit is just what we asked and like @ Ranisha said, a totally lack of respect to MRJ, this only increase our theories that something really bad happened BTS. IF they mention him, is to use his name and his character to make others look good, instead of hearing someone sad about how he deserved to live, and that they have to thank him, he was used for Rumple, expect that soon will be to make Hook look good So from all options i prefer that in the show myth he is mention, he deserved on the recap of yesterday, but on the actual show and even by the cast to serve of example of bad person , in those cases please dont mention him at all.

So I decided that 401 with Neal would have gone mostly the same, but instead of Hook pestering Emma, Neal would have been understanding and kind and sympathetic and told her to take her time and get her bearings. And when Emma said have patience, he wouldn’t have made an off hand comment about being patient until a monster came and killed him. Neal would have understood.
And that’s how 401 would have gone if Neal hadn’t been killed.

I actually didn’t mind the grave scene i actually shed a tear, it was the story rumple told of little bae being scared and jumping in bed with Rumple and him reassuring him. that was when he felt like a man. That is what is missing, the story depth, character driven story telling when they killed Bae its gone. Now I don’t mind Elsa, seems that’s bringing it back a bit, but everyone else. Emma, Snow and David who are just ornaments…
I hope Regina’s plan to find the author comes true and they rewrite the book cos so far the story is barely keeping my interest.
