Can’t argue with most of the points here. Neverland arc still had many flaws, and I agree with most of what you said. I just really had many issues with season 2 so I just meant that I understood why A&E started splitting them up.
They need to get rid of all the main characters except Emma, Henry and Regina while promoting new characters, which will be August, Lily, Maleficent , Mulan and Ruby. Snow, Charming and Rumple and Belle’s stories are done and they should just let them finish. Hook, Zelena and Robin are underdeveloped and they just bring the story down (No more ships bullshit). All I want is Regina doing Mayor stuff, Emna being the sheriff and along with Henry, they help bring back the Happy endings of characters that returned from forgotten characters island.
And unfortunately what you are asking can never happen. But a big problem they ran into, were cast members leaving. Remember how great Jefferson was? And how interesting it was to see all the doors to portals in Jefferson’s hat? But then Sebastian Stan did other projects. Same with Ruby. Same with Mulan. Same with August. So while some of the blame is the writers just not pursuing certain story lines they set up for us (eh hem Malificient and Lily), part of the problem was also actor’s availability.
But I think you laid out quite a compelling plot for a possible final season with Lily’s dad being the main villain. I just feel like these writers have plans like this for the very end. I mean who just sets up a “black fairy” and sets up Maleficient’s father and doesn’t come back to it, ever. They obviously had an idea of who the black fairy was, of who Maleficient’s father was otherwise they wouldn’t have dropped these pieces of information. As I’ve said before, my hope is that they’re stalling til the end and Oz, frozen, UW were just bridges to get to where we are now. I think they genuinely always wanted to tell the origins of the dark one, they just screwed it up. My hope is they are stalling til the end and once in the final season, we will see at least some of these old themes that you mentioned, pop up again.

There’s no reason they can’t give us more Maleficient and Lily. The writers have said they plan on telling that down the line. But I suppose they could be lying. Adam also said for SF fans to have hope in january of 2014 after the 315 was filmed and said teh same thing to Neal fans after they trended world wide nr1 “Hope for Neal” after the death spoiler came and guess what 315 was already filmed, in fact MRJ was not even in Vancouver back then.

I don’t care what A&E said, TV has standards.Actually if we separated episode 8 into 2 episodes, we can say S4A had 12 episodes, they seem to forget that ouat doesnt air only in US/canada with 2 hours, that means that outside US episode 100 of ouat was 511 bc in most of the countries s4 had 23 episodes and if we add 11 episodes this season, that makes episode 100 the episode 511 in most of foreign coutries.
The 4A finale was more part of the QoD arc than the Frozen Arc.
Also, agree with much of what PoM said about Neverland, although I don’t think Tink was ever aligned with Pan on OUaT.

I said several times in many other places and here, that the story is not something that bothers me, what bothers me are the writers, cast and crew that treat some fans as crap, unless u dont say they are brilliant and the show is great.
NOt only the queerbaiting, it upsets me so much that they were easy to say no Graham or Jefferson on S5b, but they arent honest about Neal, bc is cruel that they bait the fans to think that Neal will be in S5B, whne he may not be and in the miracle he is, will be a scene only on 512 that wont make fans happy, in fact will make them unhappy and probably destroy Neal character, they like to bait and sad part fans so want to have their show from s1 back that they let themselves bait

The thing, is even the fact of those returns, mean nothing if they are not done well, especially bc they are all returns of one episode, and u cant develop a storyline in one epi and then dont show that storyline anymore. That is why i fear that some of you, may be hurt for what is coming, bc 1st bc i dont think Neal will actually appear and in the case he makes a cameo and there is a warning, that scene will not involve any other characters, will be like Merlin message, where they just saw the message with no interaction and if MRJ did filmed on that friday( only possible day), all the other cast menbers were filming other things seen by fans or the milah and emma, when the writers already hinted that emma knows who milah is, and especially since Cs filmed after that like nothing happened and since the actress will no longer appear, is safe to say that nothing comes from that meeting. So how can u tell me that this is good storyline, where u see a character in one episode and only develop that story in one episode, so is like each episode has no connection with the previous one.
I also don’t think MRJ will appear. I don’t think that these are going to be good storylines. I think that they are characters that will show up and possibly have one good conversation. That is something in light of a bunch of really boring episodes. I also don’t really think that them trying to get out of the Underworld is all that interesting of a storyline. The interesting part is that they are going to meet people who died or they killed and how they react to that. Milah doesn’t half to appear multiple times for something to come of it. If Emma learns something about Hook from her then that could be good. Of course Emma knows about Milah. Hook has her name tattooed on his arm and showed it to Emma in Season 2. That doesn’t mean she actually knows anything about their relationship.
I totally agree though that nothing may come of Milah being on the show. She may just pass some information like oh i saw Hook over this way or something inane. That is easily possible.

When i said that, i meant that Adam said some time ago on twiter that emma knew who milah was to Neal, and since hook might still have her picture on that drawing, is possible that she also knows milah face and that is what was hinted on spoiler pics, all people said that emma sees milah with rumple and looks shoked when she sees her, meaning that she recognized her bc she knows her face. So emma would not care much about this, i would like to see maybe if she and everyone else found out that Hook sold bae to pan, that would be more serious than Hook/milah thing to emma, but since she only appears in one episode, means nothing major will come from that, she will give her blessings to CS and she will talk with Rumple and will move on to god knows where, all depends the explanations they give that wont be good, espcially bc they already said the dead people can die in the underworld

They’ve set up tons and never returned to it. I see absolutely no reason why Mal/Lily and Black Fairy would be any different. It would be more shocking to actually return to those plot lines now so far after the fact.

Lets not forget the Mulan and aurora saving philip that they always say next season and so far nothing, or how there are more things to show from the past year in S3 and is always the next season, just to name some, bc there are a lot of things they say they will show and they end not showing anything.
