I love that banner too.

So that outfit that Neal has on in the banner–did we ever see it in the show? Just curious.  I placed all the other outfits except that one.

Jo, that’s where my cynical feeling comes in to think that’s what they’d do. There’s a neat article with Chris Lowell who played one of two guys in a triangle with Veronica Mars, and he basically says he’s rooting for the other guy “for survival reasons”. It’s a pretty funny quote, because he’s basically saying it should be a no-brainer that his character is the good guy, but the majority of the fans can’t let go of the “bad boy” who had a rocky history with Veronica. Sometimes, the story has to go where the fandom has its heart, not where the character’s heart might be if written as being in character.

I would hate to think that the CS fandom has become that big and vocal that they now speak for everyone else in the OUAT fandom. They sure don’t speak for me. I hope A&E don’t let the fans influence their vision and story that much because that is how shows die off or get cancelled (seen it happen many times). If they decide to change things up for whatever reason, that’s their prerogative but it darn well better be THEIR idea and not because they got influenced by anyone else.

Isn’t it from the promo photos that we got last week? There was only one of him in that outfit and I think it’s actually the outfit he’s wearing on his poster.

I love my Neal, but I wouldn’t bet money on his staying put on the show.  He’s still my second favorite guy (Rumple will always be #1).  I just sometimes feel like we’re such a small minority.  I don’t know, maybe I’m hormonal, maybe I’m cynical, but after JKR came out with her little anti-Ron bombshell I trust nobody in the media.  😛

I fully admit that I’m also cynical but I will admit my heart got a little lighter with the extra 3×12 pics this morning. KFC and Jo make good points: how much of A and E’s story is now tainted by fan demands? I love them and they’re my OTP but I also know that Rumbelle was a huge fan service–they wanted to do the story but after Skin Deep became the phenom that it did, A and E were salivating to keep Emilie around. Even Emilie admits that the Rumbelle fans are pretty much responsible for keeping her around. So, while CS doesn’t speak for everyone–obviously–they do have a pretty loud voice. Can A and E block that if SF was always their original plan? I don’t know. However, I am a little more positive because of those 3×12 pics!!!

There’s a lot building one way but a lot building the other way too.

  NYC, home theme, Charley’s girl, and now those screencaps? I think Neal is kind of what breaks the curse for Emma, well not just him but a talisman related to him + that potion.  It won’t be clear it isn’t just the potion though, but she won’t be convinced to drink it until something to do with Neal comes up.  I don’t think its going to be just Hook showing up and staring at her  that is going to do the trick.   She will need more, as she should.  Oh and I forgot, she’s “once again” a bail-bonds-person.  Bael’s bond person remember? Shippy it may be, but with all the ship spin the other way right now, why not.   Flicker of hope is growing a touch brighter, just a touch, but it is.
