KeymasterMostly I’m dying of hysterical laughter that everything we got from Tumblr today is wrong or just a repeat of old information.

ParticipantRumplesGirl wrote: According to Barbara Barnett, Neal handles being separated from Henry and Emma worse than all the others. I mean, makes sense. It is his son and the woman he loves. I just don’t want Neal to be reckless because it will just lead to more vitriol. And I don’t want character destruction
I can’t see Neal making reckless choices…if anyone does, I’d wager it’d be an impulsive pirate who sways with the wind a lot. While I think Neal *is* going to take the separation from Henry and Emma the most to heart, I think he’s going to be less quick to arms than Hook, not because he isn’t just as desirous as Hook to get to Emma, but because Neal has to be more calculated because he can’t abandon Rumple or let Belle face saving him alone. I think we’re going to see Neal actually be revealed as a true hero behind the story…just not until later on. I highly doubt we’re about to see character assassination.

ParticipantMethinks Adam is mistaken about no screeners being out there. We know that even Daniel has access to a copy of the ep. Maybe Adam is just unaware that it’s been made available to more people than the ones they showed it to in the writers’ room.

Phee I suspect that might be the case here

ParticipantBut a screener is just a human being who is making their own interpretations. They are no different from us. Who see A+B=L or others Who See B+A=L.
To tell you the truth this bias media works in A &E’s favor if they go with Swanfire. They can always tell the furious other sides that wasn’t them that was the media or that was the promo department. They were to busy focusing on telling the story.
I was thinking about Swanfire and something I realize about the relationship. Emma and Neal scenes are the meat and potatoes (aka Beef Stew). Their scenes are hard, pack full of emotion, sticks to he bones, savory, full nutrients, taste good, comfort soul food, and will keep you full far longer. Hook and Emma get the cotton candy fluff, its full of that typical simple romantic flair its sweet, sticky, colorful, melts in your mouth, gets harden if left out in the air, but its purely for taste and not meant to be a main course or to take the place of a meal. Its a treat that you snack on before you go off to seek food (the meat and potatoes) that would actually appease your appetite.
I will actually go on to say that Swanfire is a five course meal served with fine wine.
I know its hard lovies but keep eating because eventually we will get to that desert and coffee.

ParticipantLove the food analogies, Ranisha! Dessert is gonna be so satisfying by the time we finally get to it.

ParticipantI’ve been living in my own little bubble of denial with the show. Not reading the screeners’ reviews and everytime in chat that shipping is brought up I ignore it and talk crafty things.
I do love Neal and SwanFire, but just a feeling of malaise has settled over me. The closer the show comes to returning, the less excited I get. I try to be upbeat and positive but I just can’t.

I love this analogy. It’s my favorite one so far.

Jo knows how I feel about this.
I’m pretty apprehensive about 312 because it seems like it’s going to be a very shippy episode. I don’t mind shippy episodes (my fav episode *is* Skin Deep after all) but I was rather hoping that 312 would be more mythic and start to build up the arcs of S3B. And from every report we’ve heard so far, everyone is focused on the shippy shippy shipness.
But I also agree with something Slurpeez has said a few times, we gotta wait. And how you can have the kind of resolution SF needs to have if Emma truly wants to go on over the course of one episode or two is beyond me! It appears that 313 and 314 are Neal lite and that 315 is Belle/Rumbelle centric but that Neal was on set. You don’t resolve a ship of this kind of importance to the main heroine in one episode. We’re gonna have a very long wait to see what we’ve been predicting, but I do have some hope we’ll see it.

ParticipantWell, I love the food analogy a ton but now I’m just hungry in addition to being slightly out of sorts this morning, LOL 😆
I agree that we might be in for a long wait before we see anything positive on the SF front. I still enjoy enough other aspects of the show that hopefully I’ll still find the good things to hold onto but I am definitely staying away from the media sites and reviews once the show is back on the air. I don’t want to read the comments, the media bias, or anything else that normally just bums me out. I’m holding onto hope that a much bigger story is coming for SF later in S3B and hopefully we’ll at least get some hints and clues about it along the way so we’re not the forgotten fanbase (which is how I’m starting to feel to be quite honest).
