I’m hoping so and that it’s some sort of misdirect
There’s a lot of misdirect this season already. Even last night, they bring up Neal missing for the second time, and then flash to Zelena opening that cellar door to bring food to a prisoner. You think it’s going to be Neal given the previous conversation but nope…Rumple.

"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"i don`t think that the hooded figure is Neal, bc we also see that same figure on rapunzel tower, i think is walsh, he was the one was supposed to have a connection with Emma and Rapunzel, and would make sense that he was in a charming quest in the past and also again in SB , since next epi is a charming epi. I have also have several questions, on the promo we see emma asking hook was he is hidding, can this be that he had some sort of contact with Neal is the previous year?How they find the farm? How come to hand the pics on 315 from MRJ and Jen? Bc when they return to SB they should have return, with almost the same clothes and mRJ was not with the same clothes from 311. Also they said that 4 or 5 darwfs were missing, but at grannys there were 4, where were they?Can i say , bravo prodution, very good hiding Meghan, and also lets not forget those inside informations that the paps had that RC was not in van filming epi 313 and 314, that he was on scotland, wonder know what other things they hide or even lie about, to use as decoy. Zelena says something to rumple on canadian promo: “What you took a life time seeking, i found it in less time” many say is neal, others say is family, but she doesnt consider regina family in the sense that rumple thinks of Bae, she only wants revenge. I must say that i found very easy and simple for people start thinking neal is a monkey, or is death, is to like not surprise, and many people say is a going to be something big and emotional and the end of a character arc, how would that be a end for neal journey, so i can only say this, or i will be schok that they went to far with neal and the writing is crap and they dont even deserve a s4, besides sad, or i will applaud the writers, actors and prodution, for the best decoy i saw and the most amazing turn of events, bc now for me i only want neal alive, the rest (SF) if comes,ok, if not also ok, just want neal not to die at the end.

"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"i dont think are 2 diferent figures, also lets not forget that was an actor that that filmed with them, back then and since we only see charming in the past in the tower, and this actor thanked, ginny, josh, colin, sean and emilie, i would say is in the present, so if it is two diferent persons, i would say the actor that filmed with them, is also working for the ww, why would neal be is his EF clothes, none of the others were, well except hook, but that is writers option, and if was neal why would he walking around in the woods like creepy person, unless the ww has his heart and is aslo making him do stuff, although dont like that option, bc that would mean that she can kill him like regina did with graham.

I also think what kind of deal aurora made with the WW, i wonder if that is why they will bring the wraith story back, bc zelena, may know the whole story bc aurora told her, thet henry was regina adopted son, that he was the son of the savior and the dark one son, so to zelena having neal is a great leverage, she has the way to control rumple with the dager and make sure he doesnt try to rebel and no one tries to free him, also he has the father of the truest beliver that is also her nephew and the ex of the savior, maybe taht is why she knew so much about emma and henry to send walsh, she may have used neal love for emma or his blood to see where they were. If por example she aslo has the wraith medallion,she could use it on neal, also that would mean that mRJ was not used in filming very much, bc he woud be on a bed, so not needed to film, only some shoots to use in some epi.
