RumplesGirl
KeymasterI literally cannot handle the amount of posts about how this is a good thing and how we need to get over it.
OMG.
I can’t.
Screw this.

ParticipantSorry for bitching but I hate Adam and Eddy a bit right now…. how can you seriously make a show about hope, redemption and fairy takes and kill Neal?!
I didn’t like Graham death and I wasn’t into him, I just felt it was unfair… such an aweful life when you look at it. And now Neal… Is redemtion and happy ends only left to villains and trickers?! And I love Rumple, and seriously started to grow on Regina. Hook I won’t comment. But Graham, now Neal… Is that the message of this show, that nice guys will be screwed and, suck it that’s how life works? I don’t remember who says “I’m sick to my stomach”. I am too.

KeymasterSo it’s perfectly OKAY for Henry to have lost his father–whom he loves BUT CAN’T REMEMBER?!
IT’S PERFECTLY OKAY FOR RUMPLE TO HAVE LOST HIS SON?!
WHAT THE HECK.
I need to leave. I don’t know how much more of this place I can take

ParticipantPlease explain to me how this is a good thing other than permitting CaptainSwan? Give me one way that this is a good thing, INDEPENDENT of how it was handled?
A&E tried to turn this into Game of Thrones. Let’s see how it turns out for them.

ParticipantWow. I knew I was holding on when I shouldn’t be, but … I guess TV Line put paid to that.
Guys, this might sound silly, but anyone want to have a … wake of sorts … of our own? All log in at a certain point some evening this week and raise a toast?
To Neal and how it should have been.

Yes. Us. As apparently the only people who give a crap. We loved him more than anyone. We knew him and understood him.
The level of callousness right now. I can’t. If this were anyone else I wouldn’t be arguing that it’s a good thing or that he got what he deserved.
I am so hurt and angry
"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"March 31, 2014 at 4:39 pm #257617cinnamonswanfire
ParticipantI’m so angry. I loved Robert C’s acting- but I wish that Rumple stayed dead. Rumple has killed more than anyone could ever know. Regina has slaughtered thousands. Hook is a pirate, who kills and steals- cheats and lies. And still there is hope for them. But there isn’t hope for the abandoned boy who only ever asked for a family. For the boy who constantly sacrifices his own interests for the interests of others. I thought this show was about second chances- and that Neal would get a second chance at a real family. But no- Neal gets to die, and Rumple gets to live. And the murderers, liars, thieves- they all get to be with families, they all get love and a happy ending.
That episode COMPLETELY destroyed my hope in OUAT. Isn’t hope what the show is supposed to be about? I have no more. No more faith in the writers- none. I’m sorry…but I just won’t ever forgive that death. I hope the writers feel the gravity of their horrible decision with the loss of many viewers- sorry again, but I feel like that.

ParticipantAdam and Eddy’s attempts at justifying the decision are crap. I dunno what universe they live in where they thought this was a good and natural development for the story. It was anything but.

Graham… yes. Sad. But he was incidental. A minor FTL character with no real ties to Emma, the curse, or whatever.
((Not at all to belittle the sadness. I was devastated, but in retrospect, I ***have*** moved on here… I will ***not move on from…))
NF… major (OUAT) FTL character, reason for the curse, Henry’s father, EMMA’S CANON TRUE LOVE, etc etc etc.
This blows that death out of the water.
And then when I think about all the @(#$&%^^ fake deaths on this show.
