I made this last night, but I was too tired to figure out how to post it. Inspired by the belief that loved ones who pass away are somewhere, waiting for us to reunite with them when it is our time to go.

Still hurting..

Such a waste of a great character. So much wasted potential. I’m still hoping it was just an early April Fool’s joke or something, and he’ll be back..

I feel so horrible for Emma, Rumple and Henry. 🙁

Anyway,  a few thoughts that hopefully provide some comfort:

Nealfire had a hard and sad life, but at least his suffering is over now. No more misery. (Wow, that sounds a bit heartless..)

And he was okay with his death. He wanted to make that sacrifice, to save the others. He deserved better, but at least he didn’t die completely against his will. He died a hero.

I think Neal felt quite loved in his last moments. He died in the arms of the woman he loved, and who loved him back. And his loving father was there, too.

I think that episode also confirmed what we SF shippers already knew: SwanFire IS  True Love! (Which means Emma probably won’t be considering a new romance for a while. She needs time for grieving. Sorry, Hook.)

For me, the story of Emma and Neal will always be one of the greatest love stories in the show. Alongside of Rumbelle.
