I’m so sorry. I shouldn’t have said anything. I’ll let you all grieve in peace. :’( Honestly, I don’t understand why I’m not as upset as you all are. Before the episode aired, I was very vocal about how I thought his death would be a terrible idea. I feel as if I’ve been brainwashed or something.

Like I said in chat. It’s fine if you don’t feel like we do. We respect that as well.

    We just need some time.

Angiebelle, you haven’t been–it’s just you’re bringing different things to the story. It’s okay to feel what you’re feeling, just as it’s okay for me to feel what I’m feeling and RG to feel what she’s feeling.

I’m kinda somewhere between grief and (cautious) hope that this will make more sense in context of later episodes. I still feel lost about it, but I rewatched the episode twice…and it wasn’t as hard as I expected it to be. We’re all going to process this differently and that’s okay–emotions are not logic. (That said, I think I’d be less upset if I saw the logic…and I don’t.)

First of all yay we made it past a 1000 pages which is totally awesome but I am just sick about the way we got here.

I ordered Terriers which is a great show by the way MRJ really realy shines in that show, Just as he shined in Once Upon A Time.

Sorry for the rant but I just needed to get this off of my chest

I still feel like we aren’t getting the real story about why they killed Neal off. But the way this episode came about it just seemed really rushed. Everything about it was completely out of character for Neal, Belle, Emma, Henry, Rumple, Hook and even down to Snow & Charming. To me this was a complete character assassination

I don’t know about the rest of you but I feel betrayed as well as hurt and I’m still angry

Neal’s death on Once just feels wrong on so many levels. What kind of message does this send about having Hope & Faith, getting Second Chances, finding & fighting for True Love, earning Redemption, Happy Endings. Because by killing Neal I feel as though Adam & Eddy changed the vision of the show. Out of all of the characters on the show Neal was the one who was the most real. Neal sacrificed himself and happiness many times over for everyone else but himself.

I truly believe that Neal deserves to be happy. He deserves to have his second chance with Emma the woman whom he loves as well as the second chance to be with his son Henry and watch him grow up. Neal deserves the chance to really make things right with his father.

You tell me what part any of this is right or just. The way I see it Adam Horowitz & Eddy Kitsis gave fans a message of false hope. Neal’s Promo Poster said Believe In Second Chances. I certainly don’t call this a second chance.

What kind of message does it send when it appears that the villain who actually responsible for many of things that Neal had to endure in his life gets to step in and take his place with the good guy’s family & friends there by stealing the happy ending that should have belonged to the hero.

He didn’t even get a second chance at having a plotline! Somewhere I got the impression that he and Belle were going off on this adventure to save Rumple. Somehow, I don’t really think that 3×15 was much of an “adventure…”

    HA

That wasn’t an adventure. That was an acid trip of idiocy

Promo pic? I’m almost afraid to ask …

Still turning everything around and I tried to explain to a casual-viewer friend why I’m so upset. In one line: It felt like they suddenly decided they had to get rid of him.

    So they did.

OOC, abrupt, inexplicable. And brutal to the supposed theme of hope.

    I still don’t get it.

I can’t help but have that niggling little sense that it really isn’t over, but I can admit my “evidence” isn’t the greatest.

Like others, I was considering the finale title and what “home” might mean to Emma if she, say, got ahold of a powerful magical artifact (such as a pair of shoes …) that would allow her to change everything to go “home.” And I could see the last shots of the episode with Emma and Henry eating breakfast in the apartment … and then Neal emerges from another room and joins them. Stunner! Emma kisses him; Henry smiles. And then there’s a knock at the door … they look up … fade to black.

I suppose A&E have had more amazing twists with their shows, but I figure I probably want this one too much.

the one of Neal with his hand in his pocket and said, “believe in second chances”

Ah. I thought it might be something else.

That pic … I almost … UGH, I don’t want to have hope anymore, but it does make you wonder … sigh.

I mean, look at all the stuff they pulled with “Lost” …

It’s almost worse to have that niggling little suspicion. I can’t just let go.

They straight up could have lied about his death being truly final.  They’ve lied before, I’m sure.  I don’t have direct evidence right now, but yeah.

I had an exam Tuesday so after seeing Sundays episode I tried not to think about it too much and went into a numb state. I’ve just re-watched the episode and all I feel like doing is crying cause I’m so sad right now and then I’m thinking wait this is a show I’ve been watching for a few years now, this is a character not a human even after all this I still felt hurt. Do you know why that is, why I ever invested so much time in this show than any other, is because it is real. Not real as in real real physically real but these characters they represent real life and they represent real people that go through all kinds of similar things from loss to love to heartache. That’s why I think it hurts for me cause Neal was a person who went through crap and back more than anyone on this show (in my opinion) and yet through all this he still time after time managed to get back up on his feet and carry on with his life no matter what got in his way weather it was good or bad he was able to laugh like with Emma in the woods. I wanted something for this character for Neal to have a chance at happiness just like everyone else has or should but he never did. The way this all happened it was so rushed and so so broken (if that makes sense) that to me these writers never cared about Neal they always pushed him to the background and not for one second did they think how the backlash was going to be like this how much people liked and loved Neal regardless of who and what they ship weather it was for the way it was handled or for what Neal represented. I don’t think I feel cheated but I feel like they think we are stupid balls of wool that don’t know anything. I wont stop watching Once cause I’m too far gone with this show to turn around now but my opinions of A&E have for sure been altered in some way. I’m not sure if this all makes sense exactly but I just wanted to say what I thought and felt.
