Did anybody notice how Neal said “every night, for more years than you could know” in his speech to Rumple? Seems like he’s been around for a while… good news?

The Canadian promo for the next ep shows him telling Emma that he knows Hook and that our world wasn't the first place he went to after leaving his own. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j3N5nmELfmA&feature=player_embedded

If time is paralel… Then howcome we know the fairy tales… My reasoning was that because time was kinda blurry, some fairy tale creatures landed in the past and became story tellers. The Brothers Grimm, Hans Christian Anderson, Charles Perrault. So I do believe that that’s a missed opportunity if that’s true.
February 18, 2013 at 1:41 pm #174039RumplesGirlKeymasterI agree that he was in Neverland for a good long while and that he’s Peter Pan, so the question I really want to explore is how did he get to NYC or who brought him here. My guess is Blue because I think she’s going to stand in for Tinkerbell.

Oh looking at the evidence, I agree. I just say that for the first time, it does not add up, which surprises me. Everything else is so carefully constructed.
And another thing. The bean was supposed to send them to a place without magic. Neverland is not without magic. No one ages for one, I call that pretty magical.February 18, 2013 at 2:06 pm #174044PheeParticipant@SpinningGold wrote:

The SBers still could have jumped ahead when they came to our world, don’t think they’ve set any rule in place that would negate that possibility. If time ran parallel, then it wouldn’t work, because we’ve had the story of Snow White being woken by Prince Charming’s kiss in our world for centuries, but it would have only happened 30 odd years ago. So they must have jumped forward. I do hope that they have storylines in mind involving some famous fairytale writers, so we can see how the stories became known in our world.

I’ve always held the view that when he went through the beanhole without a parent, he became an orphan, so he was sent to the land where Lost Boys go, instead of to the Land Without Magic as originally intended. The whole point of going to a Land Without Magic was so that Rumple would be stripped of his powers. Bae didn’t need that when he went through alone.

I agree. The nature of the bean changed when Bae went through alone. Blue intended to be rid of Rumple as well, but when he refused to go, it changed. But the BF then had an orphan child in Neverland (the land of Lost Boys and orphans) and maybe she knew that eventually Bae would sire the boy who would be the Dark One’s downfall so she looked out for him and then got him to NYC 28 years ago, in time to meet Emma and father Henry, making sure that she had connections with Pinocchio who was her errand boy while she was trapped in SB. That’s my overall theory.

I NOTICED THAT 😮
February 18, 2013 at 2:54 pm #174059PanTheManParticipantThe “for more years than you could know” really seems to support the whole Neverland theory. Also, check out the Canadian promo for episode 2×15. Neal says something very interesting.
February 18, 2013 at 3:35 pm #174075gypsyParticipantI think Blue flat out lied.
She lied about the wardrobe because it suited her needs at the time.
I think she knew Rumple would never go with Bae.
I think she wanted Bae out of the way.
She wanted Rumple to remain the Dark One, hone his skills and have a reason to be so passionately p*ssed (losing Bae/guilt) that he would create the Dark Curse.
Blue wanted that curse to be created, enacted and ultimately, broken.
What her reason is, I’m not sure at this point, but, I’m sure she’s got one. -
