As far as time being parallel and us knowing the stories –
As Stephen King once put it : Stories are ageless, timeless.
Every night a mom or a dad opens a story book and reads a story to their child…for the first time, or for the 100th time….each time that book is opened, the story inside starts over from the beginning.Pretty!
And I hope the writers will give us an explanation, somewhere….

Certainly confirms what many of us have been saying that just because they said we wouldn’t see Peter Pan this season (14 year old Bae Dylan Schmid) doesn’t mean that we won’t hear about him from adult Nealfire. π π π

March 3, 2013 at 11:20 pm #176557PheeParticipantAfter some of the stuff at Paley, I’m more sure than ever that Bae was in Neverland, and it’s got me so ridiculously excited. π
Daniel, would you like one sugar or two in your coffee? π

It has been such a long wait Phee that no wonder we’ve quadrupled our excitement π Oh, how I wish we could see Nealfire flying the ship just like in Disney’s animated movie! π

March 4, 2013 at 5:52 pm #176965SlurpeezParticipantOkay, it’s all but sealed with pixie dust that Neal is indeed Peter Pan! The final two episodes of the season are entitled:
2×21: “Second Star to the Right….’
2×22: “…and Straight on ‘Til Morning”Which is the way to Neverland! π

March 4, 2013 at 6:01 pm #176974PanTheManParticipantI see Neal being more a lost boy at this point, or maybe even a pirate since he knew how to handle Hook’s ship.
I always interpreted Peter Pan’s story as him being part of Neverland. I want to think that Peter Pan is still in Neverland, still young, and probably has a story of his own that touches on Nealfire’s story.
I trust the writers and would love to see Nealfire also be Peter Pan, but I’m starting to have doubts. All signs point to yes, but that is often the point so they can blindside the audience with something even better.
March 4, 2013 at 7:25 pm #177024SlurpeezParticipantMore proof straight from the horse’s mouth that Bae was at least in Neverland once:
Podcaster: I’m suspecting Neal spent some time in Neverland from his reference.
Adam: That sounds like a very reasonable assumption.
Podcaster: So all of those queries about timelines can be quieted?
Eddy: I know that you don’t grow old in Neverland.
Adam: You sure don’t and…he left his father many, many years ago, so, how is he the age he is? That is a question we intend to answer very soon.Source: Official ABC Podcast for “The Queen is Dead”

I have to admit, I teared up when I read the titles for the first time. Peter Pan is one of my absolute favorites. There is a 4-D show at Disney World (Magic Kingdom) called Philharmagic that goes through the different Disney song scenes. I cry EVERY single time its the Peter Pan scene with his piper call at Big Ben.
Also, During Wishes Fireworks show, throughout the entire park you hear different quotes from different movies and when I hear Peter Pan’s voice saying “off to Neverland!” I just lose it with happy, bittersweet tears. I’ve seen quite a few grown men and women bawling as well haha. Its such a nostalgic movie for me and just… I just don’t even think I love a Disney movie as much as Peter Pan, and I don’t think I realized it til we had Disney passes. (Wishes: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WMxgILR8n6Y Its within the first 4 minutes)
I couldn’t have imagined two more perfect titles for those EPs. I am SO excited!!!
*end sappy rant*

March 4, 2013 at 8:22 pm #177049gypsyParticipantI am extremely excited, as we’ll, TheGoldenKey π
I have loved your theory since last year!
Bae is going to turn out to be Peter Pan! YaY!To make him anything less (a Lost Boy) is just not logical, imo.
Bae is too important.
He’s the reason for everything Rumple did.
Bae is the reason for the whole show.Peter Pan is an iconic character and K&H’s all time favorite story.
They made his ‘our world’ alias be Neal Cassady for a reason – because of the Peter Pan connections to the name.π π π π π π π π π π π π π π π
March 4, 2013 at 9:50 pm #177070MatthewPaulModeratorWhile I am an opponent for the Bae is Peter Pan theory, there was something at PaleyFest that caught my interest. When the panel was asked about current characters on the show having Fairy Tale identities left to be revealed this Season, Adam & Eddy initially said no, but some of the cast said “well…kinda….” or something along those lines.
