Regarding Kensington Gardens, Peter Pan is first seen in J.M. Barrie’s book The Little White Bird (also known as Adventures in Kensington Gardens) and everything takes place in those gardens as there was not yet a Neverland. So that is just one more clue leading us to believe that Bae is indeed Peter Pan.
Also, note the couple in the distance, walking through the park. It’s foggy and their figures are shadowy. I can’t quite figure out what they are saying, but one can’t help but automatically think of shadows while watching them.
Both Bae and the shadow came through the Darling’s window. Signs again of Peter Pan’s entrance into the Darling’s residence. Wendy also mentions that the shadow started showing up at the exact same time.
As for them intentionally given misleading information or downright lying about clues, they do. 😆 I asked Jane about her fake clues as to what AWB showed Neal in his box that night. Remember how she tweeted “a big…shiny….red….mystery” and then “a small….shiny…..mystery”. Her response was that she was joking. So, they don’t always tell the truth about things. 😉
WARNING HUGE SPOILERS: now here is the best clue, the biggest clue and the award winning “Daniel drink your coffee” clue. In the official podcast, for 2×21, Second Star to the Right. Kitsis and Horowitz pretty much spells out that it is Peter Pan. Have to say, that it is also the best podcast of both seasons. So much information given away.

Poor Daniel, he almost got away, two episodes ago when it looked like Pan would be someone else.May 7, 2013 at 12:58 pm #191875kfchimeraParticipantTo be fair–they are still keeping the mystery alive by avoiding direct confirmation.
“If I had a world of my own, everything would be nonsense. Nothing would be what it is, because everything would be what it isn't. And contrary wise, what is, it wouldn't be. And what it wouldn't be, it would. You see?” -- Lewis Carroll, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland & Through the Looking-Glass

Exactly! They really were playing word games on that last podcast. But it's important to note that when they bring up the Peter Pan theory, all they said was that they were excited to see him go to the Darlings. They never dismiss it, They also say that the conception of the Baelfire character was Peter Pan. So, they are really playing us but I take it as confirmation that Bae is Pan.

This is my take. If the shadow is the “evil” or “bad” side of Bae then it’s not really him and it’s not really Peter Pan. If Bae is Peter Pan, I think he’s going to be a reverse of PP. I think he will use the JR to take the boys being held on NL home and that’s how he is like PP without being PP.

Peter Pan bringing all the lost boys home isn’t reversed Pan though. It’s actually canon. We see him and Wendy doing this in J.M. Barrie’s book, Peter and Wendy.
They can spin it all they want but the bottom line is that he is the essence of Peter Pan thus he is Peter Pan.

My goal this summer is to read the PP mythology, so thanks for the correction. If that’s the way it works, then I’m totally sticking with my theory that Bae and Hook take all the children home from NL.

Props to Phee, whom I believe predicted Baelfire would first come through the portal in Kensington Gardens in 19th-ceutnry London.
Thanks, feels like I’ve been guessing so much stuff wrong lately, ain’t gonna lie, it’s nice to have guessed something right. 😆
This whole Shadow thing is really intriguing, including the fact that Wendy never called it Peter Pan. If she’s been flying with this thing, and has seen others it’s taken and trapped, then surely its name has been made known to her, but she just calls it “The Shadow”. How did it become a separate entity? Who was it separated from? Or has it just always been an independent being?
I’m loving that Bae is finally stuck in the middle of the Onceiverse take on the PP story!

Phee!!! I’ve been waiting to hear what you think of the recent K&H podcast. It should get your head and toes tingling with fairy dust! 😆
