Having watched the scene from The Outsider with Hook and Belle on the boat a few times now, every time I hear…

Belle – He needs that shawl to find his son.
Hook – And what makes you think his son wants to be found? I’m doing that boy a favour.

…I can’t help but wonder if he’s speaking with actual knowledge of the boy’s mind. Obviously, I’m viewing it with a certain bias because I’m a fan of this Bae/Pan theory, and perhaps he’s just assuming that no one would want anything to do with Rumple, but there’s just something in the way he says it as though it’s something he sure of, as though maybe he’s familiar with “that boy”.

I am not a shipper of Bae in Neverland, but it crossed my mind too as heard the words from Hook.

    There’s a connection here somewhere.

If you go back to Tallahassee, there’s also the fact that when Hook mentioned the Lost Boys, his voice wasn’t dripping with disdain as you’d expect. Rather, he sounded nostalgic about them, like they maybe got along with each other, like maybe he would do a favour for one of them, if he could.

This has me really, really intrigued. I’ll be thinking about it all day.

Just a thought on the whole “the bean was supposed to take him to a land without magic”-thing, is it possible that he actually did come here first, and then, since he’s pretty much a lost boy (orphan in a strange land), went on to Neverland afterwards? He only needed to stay here a short while.

And as i’m writing this I also realized that maybe that has something to do with his coming back here every now and then, wondering if his dad somehow got through anyway… at least at first, later it might have just become habit… though maybe not…

I was thinking that because remember how when he saw the cape and Belle asked why he didn’t just destroy it, his first words are “Because she made it”. I feel like if he saw Bae and recognized him, he wouldn’t think “Oh that ass’s boy” no he’d think of him as Milla’s son and maybe try to protect him.

This goes with the theory about Hook/Rumple/Bae/and Peter Pan. Wanted to know if you’d thought about just how old Hook is? If we are correct Rumple is 200/300 years old? Now Hook was around before Rumple was the dark one and we know he went to neverland after Mila was killed, to a place he would never age. This makes Hook almost 200/300 years old as well. If this is true as it appears there is no time distortion between worlds. As proved between FTL and our world too. This would mean in order for Bae to be alive he would have had to have gone to Neverland, where he was either Peter Pan or a lost boy. I would suggest Peter Pan because he forgets is parents, but it would fit that he fights Hook just as Rumple did eventhough he does not know it. And in the movie “Hook” peter chooses to grow up and stays in our world (and forgets, August could have jarred his memory a bit with the box) which would match up with when Hook goes back to FTL and meets the Evil Queen. This timeline is probably the easiest to follow and would pull everything together. Also if Neil is Bae and Peter it would make for great scenes with Hook would it not? Especially with regards to Emma and Rumple.

Not sure what you mean by time distortion. Rumple was exempt from aging because he became immortal once he became the dark one. To my knowledge, Blue is immortal as well. As for Hook, the premise about Neverland is that one never grows up so that would have stopped him from aging. Everyone else in the Enchanted Forest aged and most likely did in other worlds as well.

Now, Bae could have easily come to the real world at any point of time throughout the past 300 years. While being in Neverland can certain explain him not aging it isn’t the only explanation. Magic can transcend all time. It could have taking him 300 years to arrive here.

I think if you check back throughout all the posts on this thread, including the title post, you’ll find the connection about Hook, Bae and Rumple was mentioned and then discussed. It was just one more clue that supported this theory.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Neal is Peter pan or even a lost boy. I would love for him to be Rumple’s son because it would just be an awesome connection. It would be epic if Bea ends up being Peter Pan only because of the connection and hatred between hook and rumple…All I know is that I’m going to be so sad when the show takes a break 🙁 even 2 weeks hurts forget season breaks..Ugh..
