Maybe Mr. Gold is looking for a grave and needs to find his grave to feel consolation or to confirm whether he is still a live or not. Bae is afterall human and going to a land without magic he could have gotten hit by a bus, struck by lightning or perished in a plane crash.

I’m not entirely convinced he ended up in our world, but for argument’s sake, let’s say he did. Just because you jump from one world to the next, that doesn’t necessarily mean that you land at the same place on the timeline.

Everyone jumped from FTL to our world, and they’ve been here for 28 years. But the fairytales they’re from have been known in our world for centuries. Emma knows they exist in the same way we know they exist, so the stories have been in the Once version of our world for just as long as they have been in our actual world.

So they couldn’t have merely jumped from one world to the next on the same timeline, they actually jumped forward over 200 years, (Grimm Brothers’ first publication was 200 years ago, and the stories existed before then). So using that as an example, if Bae did come to our world, he could have potentially landed at any point in time.

I agree and have said in prior post and in other posts that yes…we cannot confirm he is in this world, nor if he is alive. It was claimed that Rumple has lived for centuries and is only alive due to being possesed by magic. Bae is confirmed to lack magic so…..that makes him several centuries old. There is that room with 20 doors but only 16 doors are showing as previously mentioned. He could potentially be in one of twenty worlds but I do not seeing anyone that is several centuries old except for the remaining members of the Rolling Stones. Yes I agree there is absolutely no confirmation as to the fate of Bae. In fact the return is the only episode that he’s really mentioned in SB, while all other appearences and references were in FTL.

If Bae went through time which didn’t Rumpel call it a time portal or something then Bae doesn’t have to be centuries old. That is also something that is unknown, but still possible.

I’m also of the opinion that Bae is Henry’s father. From what the writers and creators have said about we may or may not have seen him already and that he’s not just some ordinary guy (paraphrasing) it has to be Bae. Now we just need the story to figure it all out, however, with all that they’ve done so far, I don’t think it’s impossible for them to come up with some sort of plausible explanation for how it could happen.

Rumple/ Gold has made every move having a follow up move. He has never done something without a reason or a result that did not favor him. It would be nice to see karma come back and bite him. Bae being dead and Rumple/ Gold doing all of this for love and to find him only to realize he was too late would be interesting. Him realizing that when he had a chance he should have gone with Bae would be his self realization. He’ll finally not have a counter move and out of them.
