ParticipantI had a thought about season two, if Colin hadn’t broken his leg what the story would have been like. With the introduction of Neal as Emma’s baby daddy, we probably would have gotten some sort of love triangle. And I remembered, we sorta of had a very brief love triangle in the Enchanted Forest with Aurora/Phillip/Mulan and I wonder if that was meant to parallel Neal/Emma/Hook in some manner?
What do you guys think?

ParticipantOh @obisgirl, to be a fly on the wall in that writers room! I guess we’ll never know what S2 would have been like had Colin not broken his leg. MRJ said in the ComicCon interview that he and Colin were to have had their first scene together the day after Colin broke his leg. I doubt that it was going to be a pleasant reunion but my hopes were that some of the issues that the writers have left hanging (ie, abandonment in NL) were to have been addressed. I don’t know if the “love triangle” would have been much of an issue then, but I wanted some more “Tallahasee” moments; for Emma to have seen the interaction between the two men in her life and how each one affected her in different ways. And more Killian with his flirt on never hurt 🙂
That Bryan Adams vid was beautiful, btw. Wasn’t that song on the soundtrack to Robin Hood? All I remember from that movie was the brief glimpse we got of Kevin Costners butt.
Thanks @surayya, that pretty much proved how nuts we Oncers are, but in a good way 🙂 I hope you feel better soon.
SMOOCHIE APPRECIATION OF THE DAY!! Because we can never get enough of these 🙂

SpectatorOk is this true:
It was pointed out that the urn containing Elsa looked almost identical to one in Hook’s quarters on the Jolly Roger during the fanfiction scene. The only real difference was the top. What if that urn contains Anna? What if it was something that Liam acquired during an adventure pre-Neverland and Killian just kept it because it belonged to his brother?

ParticipantThe CS kiss in the finale was much more romantic and heartfelt than the one in Neverland IMO.

ParticipantI would think the adjustments for Hook after Colin broke his leg were more time related than character or plot related ( though I hate to use both of the words Plot and Character any more because of the rabid excuses delusionally spewed by anti Hook crusaders to try and explain why every OUAT should be 100% Neal driven)
“Time” meaning they put off a bit what they wanted to do, time wise, but not story wise.
I feel they had the premise of everything Hook laid out quite plainly in their minds regarding who Hook was becoming and how he was going to get there. It would have been great to see Bae/Hook reactions…if Bae had been portrayed decently as an adult. But that didn’t come to be. I still don’t see the brooding, dark little boy in surfer dude Neal at all. I don’t think Neal had much of anything to do with Hook during season 2. Hook was still driven by raging revenge against Rumple.
For me, the two grown men didn’t even exist in the same brain cels for Emma. Neal was all past/pain/resentment/anger and Hook was all present/future/avoiding emotions, sass and whacking him on the head (ha)

ParticipantI agree PoM, the finale (beginning?) kiss was one of deep affection and dare I say it??? love. Much more intimate, emotional.
A totally different vibe from Emma because as predicted, she wanted him and the emotion attached.
The Neverland kiss was just her givin’ in to the temporary lust of the luscious leather dude. *It felt good* as she said, and it sure made US all feel good, too 🙂
I wouldn’t discount either of them in my quest for the visual appreciation of Hook’s fabulous mouth LOLOL. (yes, I am that shallow, today, anyway!)

Agree!! Oh, and you and I can hang out in the shallow end together. I’ll bring the drinks 🙂

Agree with this too. The first was all passion and this last one was tender and loving. Plus there were actual happy smiles to go along with the smooching. To think I didn’t believe any kiss could top 305. Boy was I wrong!

ParticipantBAhahahaha! That is hilarious @callmeLola! I know, Surayya does a great job getting us pretty gifs and pics but I miss Eala’s too. 🙁 And her comments. I think she’s died like, 10000000000 times.
I don’t know what I think about how S2 would’ve changed had Colin not broken his leg. They make it sound like they did a lot of last minute re-writing as a result, but at the same time, they acknowledged they could’ve gotten him on set if they really needed him for the story, and just hide the leg. (Or — they could’ve recast/killed the character — oh the horror! And shows how much they love our pirate too! tee hee)
