I saw this picture late last night on tumble 😉 Colin looks amazing.
I saw The Rite when it came on the horror channel or something. I thought Colin was great in it but the story I felt was slow.
[adrotate group="5"]I wasn’t particularly impressed by The Rite either, but mostly, I think because they advertised the movie as a horror film and it wasn’t. Colin was good; I didn’t know who he was at the time. I don’t think his performance should have been panned because of the material he was given. Even Sir Anthony couldn’t save that film.
As for the CMA’s, I’m not a country fan but I’m willing to watch cause he might actually be there 🙂

Oh God……………. The Thorn Birds!!! My very religious mother had a bad crush on Richard Chamberlain. I feel skeevy just thinking about it *shivers* YUCK!!!!!
Haha @callmeLola they used to show that miniseries every year where I am…didn’t really get the attraction to Chamberlin but yeah it definitely skewed how an impressionable Catholic girl viewed the handsome priest at church!

I didn’t have any expectations of The Rite, didn’t know if it was a horror or psych thriller or what. (I’d never even heard of it until Iwent thru Colin’s back catalogue) I liked it in places and I liked the idea of his character being a skeptic and not taking things at face value, blind faith and all that (as a non-religious person I found that intriging). And up against Sir Anthony, well surely you’re not allowed to upstage him, or if upstaging him is even possible. 😉
Does anyone else see a little Christian Bale in him? I had that thought while watching the Rite and just then when looking at that pic.

Yeah, well fortunately none of my priests ever looked like Richard Chamberlain, or Lord help me, Colin 🙂

Haven’t seen the Rite- dont do horrors at all lol (I saw a ‘based on true story’ horror movie when I was a kid & that was my 1st & last horror right there lol), so cant comment ton how Colin was in it- but will be watching his next movie (if it’s not a horror 😉 ).
Kind of feels like forever since the last ep- isnt filming meant to start back up on the 17th or 19th of July? (not that we can put much stock on whats filmed now *thinks of the infamous ‘hug’*) At least if there’s filming going on, Once will seem closer to being back on screen lol
