Argh. Forgive my edits. I’m re-doing my post – switched into text by accident and screwed it all up.
Ok, so I just read a post (meta?) on Tumblr and I’m going to repost portions of it here – it’s really long. But it’s an amazing post about Emma and her relationship between Hook (romantic love aside, the familial bond that’s growing between them) vs her parents (trying and failing to parent their ‘child’).

If you want to start a new topic in say “General discussion and theories”, then just scroll down to the bottom of the “General discussion and theories” page & everything is there for you to start a new topic/thread (looks like this part of a thread, but there’s an area for you to put in the title of the topic you wish to discuss) 🙂
I’ll be honest: I will be very upset with Snow next season if she goes on about how Neal was Emma’s true love and Emma should have been with him. Because Snow would be once again, ignoring what Emma wants and needs. It should be about what makes Emma feel happy, not what makes Snow happy. Emma’s a grown woman after all.
I understand that Snow liked Neal but aside from their conversation in the Enchanted Forest in New York Serenade, that was the only time they actually physically interacted on the show. Snow never took the time to get to know Neal, find out what possibly went wrong in his relationship with Emma…other than his relationship with Emma and knowing that Neal was Henry’s father and Rumple’s his father, she knows nothing else about him, or even bothered to get to know him at all. Which is odd for Snow considering she liked Neal so much that she named her kid after him.
I hope Snow’s attitude changes and realizes, Emma’s happy ending will be her own choosing and she will be with the person who makes her happiest.
And I like that Charming and even Josh understand that.
