Note to the haters, and I think this can include the SFers (edited for language)
Newsflash
There are about thirty plus different ships for OUAT. You know how many of those ships are canon in the present storyline?
Four.
Nobody wants to talk about Swan Queen.
Just like nobody is talking about Hookriel or Mad Swan or Red Hook or Wooden Swan. Because they aren’t relevant to the story that’s being told.
It’s fine if you ship them, you go ahead and do your thing, nobody is saying you can’t. But at some point, you have to realize that it’s not canon, it was never meant to be canon, and it’s never going to be canon.
The actors, the writers, the people involved with the show want to talk about the things that are actually happening on the show. They want to talk about Frozen. They want to talk about Baby Neal. They want to talk about what’s going to happen with Rumbelle what with him lying and all that. They want to talk about Regina and Robin and Marian. They want to talk about Captain Swan.
They don’t have to answer your questions, the fact that they do speaks so highly of the respect and love they have for their entire fanbase.
But they are not writing Swan Queen. They are not acting Swan Queen. Swan Queen is not a thing that is happening in the storyline. And you keep trying to make them talk about it, as if it’s owed to you. It’s not. They don’t owe you shit. They’re being nice to you because they don’t want to piss anyone off.
There’s a reason you feel like you get brushed off in favor of questions about Outlaw Queen or Captain Swan. It’s because Outlaw Queen and Captain Swan are actually happening on the screen and they want to talk about them. There’s nothing to say about Swan Queen that they haven’t already said a hundred times, it’s not happening. What do you want them to do, make some shit up so you can say you were lied to later on? It’s a trap, no matter what they f@#$%^& do.
Going to cons and asking pointedly worded questions about something that isn’t even happening isn’t going to make you more popular. It isn’t going to win you any points. It’s an embarrassment to the fandom as a whole, that all you care about is a ship that isn’t happening and to hell with everything else, because it’s Swan Queen or nothing to you people.
You think if you pester them enough, if you threaten enough, if you consistently badger them about it, they’re finally just going to give into you?
Excuse me while I laugh my ass off because that, right there, is hi-f@#$%^&-larious considering what you are consistently accusing Hook of doing.
Making everyone uncomfortable for the sake of your skewed agenda is b@#$%^&t and the highest form of disrespect. Let these people do their jobs. If you have to ask them things, ask them things that are actually relevant. They’ve given you the answers to your questions, you just haven’t liked what they’ve had to say. Boo-f@#$%^&-hoo, them’s the breaks.
And seriously, if you’re gonna boycott the show, just f@#$%^& do it. Please, for the love of God, just do it. It’d be nice to be able to watch the show without someone telling me how morally reprehensible the whole thing is.

I totally agree, I have NOTHING against a L/G couple- but it isnt going to happen with Regina & Emma, they already made that clear & many SQ fans threw a poop fest of titanic proportions over it- which frankly, was down right embarrassing to bear witness to.
SF isnt happening- Neal is dead, he is gone & it’s over- Stop taking it out on A&E, the cast, CS & Hook fans, stop insisting the show has lost all purpose because your fav couple didnt happen &/or your fav person got written out. Just because as a fan of a ship, you projected your own opinions on what the show ‘should be’, instead of listening & watching the reality being played out in front of your eyes by cast on screen & cast A&E in interviews.
If CS didn’t happen, yes sure I’d be upset (because they are my fav couple & I love their sass & respect for each other), I wouldnt however expect A&E or the cast to answer 1000000 “why not & how could you” questions, nor would I abuse them for it- they chose not to go there, it’s their story. The End. Build a bridge- either man up & watch the show for the shows sake, or do yourself & the rest of the fandom a favor & stop watching or take a break, it’s hardly rocket science![adrotate group="5"]Also, I hope I am just being paranoid but did anyone notice in the publicity photo that was released of Colin today (the one with him walking the dog) he isn’t wearing his wedding ring? I noticed it because one thing I love about Colin is that in every picture I have EVER seen of him (even his professional stills) he is ALWAYS wearing his wedding ring. First, I hope everything I okay with him and Helen (I am almost positive it would be, little Evan isn’t even a year old), but second I hope no one is making him remove his ring for photos now. I like the message he sends when he wears it.
What pic is this? It may be an old photo because you’re right, he always has his wedding ring on. He had his wedding ring on in the photos from the Dust Storm wrap party so I’m certain everything is okay. One of the things I like about Colin is that he doesn’t hesitate to praise his wife in interviews, they’ve know each other since they were 18 and are best friends.

The picture of Colin without his ring was on the Once Storybrooke twitter account but I don’t know where it originated from. It looks fairly recent. Sorry I can’t seem to post or link it.
It makes me wonder if some publicity person is making him take off his ring for pictures now or if they airbrushed it out. I know that a lot of hot married actors are told not to wear wedding rings in publicity photos because it ruins the “fantasy” factor. Personally I find Colin much hotter BECAUSE he wears his wedding ring all the time and always talks about his wife in interviews. So the fact that his ring was missing was the FIRST detail I noticed. It’s probably because I’m older and married that I find his loyalty to his wife so sexy. Maybe if I was younger and single I would understand the “darn, he’s taken angle.” I have, however, thought that Helen is a VERY lucky woman.

RGF, I looked up the photo on the twitter acct and it is an old pic. When Colin was filming S2 his buddies in the Enemies photo shopped that same picture with him walking a crocodile instead and posted it on one of their accts. So don’t worry!!! I also love the fact that he’s so obviously devoted to Helen. In my opinion, he’s the lucky one to have found her!

I was really worried that he was being pressured to comply with “hotness” expectations now that he has become so much better known.
On a side note, someone on tumblr did a really cute compilation of pictures of him and Helen together that I saw the othe day – it was really sweet. You always see tumblr reblogs of him in character with Emma or as himself with JMo, I thought it was cute to see that someone put together a bunch of pictures of him with his REAL True Love.
While some shows thrive on calculated controversy, some shows just want to tell a story. ONCE has a story to tell, but is plagued by controversy because others want them to tell a different story. These vocal, know-it-all nothings demand it even, when in fact it is none of their creative risk, professional reputation or business on the line.
While some viewers/posters think their view is the ONE and ONLY STORY that MUST be told while they vilify, whine, insult, threaten and live in bellicose denial about the people who are actually putting the efforts and talent and risk into bringing it to the small screen… they are not fans. They are NOT fans, no matter how they present their cases. Not fans.
Their choice. Let them choke in their own negative juices.

@call me Lola I agree about Colin being lucky to have Helen. She seems incredibly sweet and very supportive of him. I can’t imagine how difficult it must be to be married to a man that people “fangirl” over. From things he has said in interviews it seems like he tries to shelter her from it as much as possible and he seems like the type that is able to leave work at work when he gets home (ex. he isn’t a Twitter hog). But I tend to be kind of a naturally jealous person by nature, it’s hard for me when my husband is working on a big project at work and is away on business a lot working with other women even when I KNOW nothing is going on, so I know I would struggle with having women out there sending flirty tweets to my husband, hanging out on a set all day to get a picture with him, interrupting our vacation for a photo or autograph, criticizing him because they don’t like something about his character – not to mention having my husband make out with some other woman as part of his job.
I think being a celebrity can really put a lot of stress on any marriage but they have been together for so long and seem so openly loyal and dedicated to each other that I hope their marriage is able to withstand any of the celebrity “junk.”
I wonder how Gremma fans view CS since obviously one half of their ship was killed off, and that was long before Hook came into the picture. Weren’t there woodenSwan fans before August got turned back into a little boy? So far Emma has had a love interest that has been killed off and another that has been de-aged and that is before CS or SF entered the picture.
