Colin tweeted today that he’s at the gym.. You might be wondering, why is that significant or how does it relate to CS?
We know for sure, we’re going to see a LOT of Hook next season since we’re going to Neverland. It was pointed out on tumblr that maybe S3 OAUT producers told Colin to start working out at the gym a bit because there could be scenes where he’ll be shirtless / not very clothed with his Swan.
That is purely speculative though, but seriously, would be very awesome if we got some shirtless Hook next season and Emma sees what he looks like without the black leather. I imagine she would be quite flustered. 😆

Haha, nice! Either way it’s a good sign because it means that his leg is on the mend and should be getting stronger / ready for lots of exciting stuff for S3! Poor thing was limping down that gangplank (I think that’s what it’s called??) at the end of ASOTM so glad to hear he’s getting better!

True.
I’m a very visual person, even when I write. When I write scenes, I visualize them like seeing a movie (but in wide screen). So when I work on those NC-17 CS scenes, it’s not the same as actually seeing what Hook looks like half-naked. If we do get half-naked Hook next season, it’ll help improve how I write Hook in those scenes.

LOL, yep! I do the same thing when I’m writing. I changed the novel I wrote for CampNaNoWriMo in April because the other one just wasn’t laying out like a novel but I was imagining various scenes like a movie. I’m probably going to try that one again for the camp in July. Seeing more of what you’re trying to write definitely helps though!
We haven’t really gotten a lot of shirtlessness for OUAT so I doubt they’ll go that far with it but making sure he’s in tip-top shape can’t hurt right? 🙂 (And of course, every little bit helps feed the fanfic plot bunnies) 😉

I don’t really have a particularly valuable contribution to make to this thread at this moment in time but hi. I ship this so hard. I never used to but then everything changed because of Tumblr and I just really need this to become canon next season.
I’m glad you’ve found your way over to the CS thread, yuka. Don’t worry about talking right now but don’t be afraid to jump in when you can. It’s going to be a long summer until filming starts in July and then comic con.

Hi and welcome yuka! Don’t worry about whether you feel like you can contribute or not, just jump on in whenever you feel like it. 🙂
It’s a supportive CS community and it helps tons to see that others feel the same way! Always happy to welcome more CaptainSwan shippers and look forward to seeing where this thread goes, especially over the long summer. *sniff*
It’s a long thread but essentially a safe haven for CS people. I know it’s helped me tons when I panic after hearing various things and find my shipmates who remind me of various reasons to hope. It’s also a great way to keep up with any news about our favorite characters and any and all things CS are fair game so if you find something great or want to check out what we’ve found or add something of your very own by all means do so!
The more people with eyes on the ship / details the better. I know I was seriously panicking awhile back and then started browsing here and tumblr and seeing that there were SO many little things that I missed that when added altogether meant for a lot of good CS stuff!
Everybody has a valuable opinion. We all see different things and look at things from different angles so please don’t be shy to jump in when you think of something, even if it’s just to agree with something else. The more the merrier and welcome aboard!

I didn’t realize this before but remember in the finale after Gold pricks his finger and spills his blood on the globe to figure out where Henry had gone?
I read another meta post and this stuck out at me:
Notice the positions of everyone in regards to the globe. They are, in essence, one family now going after one of their own. But, look at how the globe divides them in like factions. One side has Rumple & Regina. The other? Charming, Snow, Emma &…..Killian. With Killian standing the closest & in between Emma & her parents & Rumple weary & on guard. Protecting them. Killian is placed w/the Charmings protecting them from the worst person he knows of in his opinion like he’s part of the Charming family itself.
Here’s another point, in regard to Hook coming back.
Hook took the bean & began to leaves as Hook. But, he willingly turned back around & came back as Killian Jones. “Hook” is really no more.

I was thinking about the early CS days a bit ago and realized something. When Emma has Hook tied to the tree and he’s trying to convince her to let him go he makes a point of saying that they want the same thing. This is one of their first interactions and he’s saying “Because we want the same thing” though at this point that “same thing” is to get the compass and get to SB.
This is important because….in Emma’s first interaction with Neal after many many years, the majority of their interaction at the start of Manhattan is how they do NOT want the same things. Not remotely. Neal even goes so far as to tell her he would have stayed away from her if he had known she had a connection to FTL and like it or not she has a HUGE one now – her parents, her kid wants to be there, etc etc. He goes on his rants about not wanting anything to do with magic and she is the product of true love and has very very POWERFUL magic. These are HUGE issues that there’s not a lot of middle ground on.
He never even says that he loved her too when she said she loved him back then and was clearly hurt by it. He was just all destiny fate blah blah and they made a POINT of saying they must have been brought together for some reason (HENRY) even though she doesn’t spell that part out to him at the time.
Neal is ALL about fate and destiny but he had this defeatist attitude the entire time they were in the bar and basically spelled out that it was ONLY fate and destiny that they should have had HENRY. The entire conversation is how much they are not right for each other because he doesn’t want the same things AT ALL. Had he not known about Henry I’m not even 100% positive he would have gone out of his way to make sure Rumple was alright. I’d like to think he would have but he really just wanted him to go away until Henry showed up so had Henry not been there, Rumple would have been attacked when Neal nowhere around and goodness knows what would have happened.
So the main point I’m trying to make is…one showed a conversation about wanting the same things (which leads to the “what we need is right in front of us” “let’s go home” etc etc from Hook) …and the other is about how Neal & Emma do not want the same things. This CAN’T be meaningless, especially when we see constantly how much Neal hates magic and we’re seeing more and more that Emma is very powerful magically speaking.
I agree on all the stuff I’ve seen about the CS catch-phrase being “I will always come back for you” because
they always find a way back to each other and choose to come back or expect the other person to come back to them. (IE: Emma knowing Hook would follow but giving them a 10 hr headstart, Hook coming back for her etc. Hook is the ONLY person she ever actually expects to come back for her. You could see how devastated she was when she realized the pouch that supposedly had the bean was empty. She never even THOUGHT to check it like she normally would have with anybody else, she expected it to be there because it was from HOOK.)Emma has abandoned 2 people and been abandoned by everyone else at one time or another. Those two people? HENRY & HOOK. Both of which have made a point of hunting her down and/or coming back to her, even when she’s abandoned and wounded them in some way.
