I think Emma’s poster featured the swan necklace just because it is an item closely associated with her. The majority of the posters featured portable items and for the style of poster, the swan necklace wouyuld look much better than Emma’s car.

    &

I actually think the swan necklace is most apropos of all possible objects here. The necklace – from Emma’s point of view – symbolized love, then symbolized her distrust and refusal to love, and then she realized she could accept and even embrace her past instead of being stuck in and stunted by it. I think she put the necklace on again after Neal died, not just to honor him as the father of her child and a significant part of her past, but to symbolize the work Emma had done to overcome that past and move forward. So while some, I’m sure, are going to grab onto the necklace and say it has to do directly with Neal, her TL, blah blah blah, I think at this point the necklace has very little to do with Neal and everything to do with the person Emma has become since then.

    Agreed.

I think the posters look good.

Okay, considering the spoilers we’ve been getting in regard to Emma and Hook’s individual character arcs in 4A, I think this snippet from the recent TVGuide article makes sense:

“The theme of Frozen is the power of love, and that’s been the theme of our series since Season 1”, says Kitsis. “Also, we both put out the message that it’s OK to be different. In fact, it’s better than OK-it’s to be celebrated.” [x]

Emma still has issues. Just because she’s in love with Hook, doesn’t mean those issues will disappear overnight. And Hook has issues too. We’ve seen Hook with both hands but we don’t know the context of how he got his hand back, so the psychology of what is going in his head is going to explored next season. And then, if this is the second theme for 4A, it also means, Emma is going to help him accept that it’s okay for Hook to be the way he is; the same way he helped her realize it’s okay to embrace her magic.

@obisgirl love the idea that they’ll work with each other to hopefully resolve those huge issues

Series cocreator Adam Horowitz would only say that when it comes to the good (?) pirate, “There is more delving into his past to come” – though the burning question of whom he traded the Jolly Roger to, in the name of finding Emma, won’t be revealed until “somewhere down the road.”

Cant wait for more of his past. Sorry in advance for this pun, but seems this season is a going to have a strong theme of “let it go” 😉

I’m agreeing with the necklace just being something that’s associated with Emma, as opposed to anything that has a deeper meaning for the posters. And you know, it has a swan on it.

    I’m with you @surayya, bring on S4!! 😀

I just love how Batman-y this photo looks, like it’s been lifted straight from the old 60s TV show. 😀

(Argh! given up, I can’t get the spoiler to work)

If one is to engage with the primordial forces of darkness, one must expect a little social awkwardness

I’ve been thinking about that shadowy ominous pic of Killian in the jail cell at the sheriff station and thought, [x]

I came across this on Tumblr…I definitely agree. 😉

Edward Kitsis: You want to see Emma and Hook rent a movie and stay home?

Eddy is such a troll.  Make a bet, that at some point when Emma and Hook finally have a moment to breathe next season, they will stay home and watch a movie and end up cuddling together on the couch and Emma will fall asleep in his arms.

I remember when Adam teased, “It’s not like they’re going to suddenly go to order Chinese and watch Netflix.” [x]

And then the first image of Jen and Colin together at SDCC, it was Colin feeding Jen.
