That’s possible. It would also explain why Hook is the one in the know. I just don’t want Hook to go back to his season 2 days, that’s all. If he and Rumple are snarking at each other all the time that’s fine, but I don’t want them trying to kill each other or hurt the people that mean most to the other.
I agree with that- while I dont expect them to be all sunshine & butterflies with each other, I seriously dont want Killy back sliding to the point he’s ‘targeting’ Belle to get at Rumple …again- black thoughts of how that’d be easier & start to go there, then realises he cant do it anymore fine, but I really dont want Hook being ‘S2 Regina 2.0′ – that would SUCK IMO! I find it interesting & entertaining when they struggle & back slide a little … or lot, but I hate it when they go ‘good guy’ for a couple of eps & then the next few eps we’re back to ‘bad guy’, before going back to ‘good guy’ mode for a few eps again etc. etc. That drives me mental, which is why finale Rumple had me feeling like I’d just smacked my head into a brick wall (feeling better about that storyline after reading some of Ep1 synopsis) :/
I am so glad that Rumple gives the real dagger back He made a mistake but he chose to rectify that of his own free will rather than being forced into it. Belle is still going to find out eventually because she can’t not, but I think this puts the relationship in a better position than if Rumple had kept up the pretence.
If Hook was having a go at Rumple about Elsa and the urn, that would be great because it would have nothing to do with Belle, it’d be Rumple’s past catching up to him again. RumBelle’s problems should just be between Rumple and Belle, not caused by Hook.

Honestly, these Hook detractors are so totally obsessed with him they must have a borderline psychological love disorder- insecure, immature girls who are so afraid of his sensual and sexual attraction that they have to constantly attempt to denigrate him ~and anyone else who CAN “handle” the heat and fun~ so they don’t feel so threatened.
Any excuse will suffice.
If they were secure and mature they would be able to focus on something that brings their life more positivity. They would expend their energy on enjoyment instead of stalker-like, lip-curling and decidedly childish perceived insults. In simpler terms, they are creepy. Kind of like the Westboro Baptists of the fandom.
When people compulsively hang on to something they find distasteful or constantly highlight what they think is ignorant or stupid, when the answer is to concentrate and incorporate something into their life that does makes them happy, it is their own ignorance and stupidity that is on display.

PoM, surayya…YES, I agree. Anything that brings back the snark and tension b/w Hook and Rumple is great for the show. And with the dagger not being in Rumple’s control… this is a good thing for Hook’s life expectancy! It will give reason for him to stay on Belle’s good side, too…Heh
