Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh- just read this & it kind of makes a lot of sense…
Killian and Rumpel…and Emma
We all know that True Love makes the strongest magic.What about when the Savior finds her True Love? Rumpel surely wants a piece of that. WHAT IF – given the convoluted bit of trickery we saw him pull with Anna – he actually has a bigger plan. We’re all saying that Killian should tell Emma he’s being manipulated by Rumpel. I think that Rumpel knows Killian has changed and knows that he will not be able to keep that secret from Emma.
SO. Rumpel knows that Emma will find out that Killian is being used by him, and he is counting on her to get angry on behalf of Killian. She may even try to use magic against Rumpel, which would be playing into him. Because he knows that her magic is going to be strongest when fighting for the one she loves.
Perhaps, he’s just using Killian as a pawn to capture Emma in the hat at a vulnerable point down the road? Emma was 28 when the show started. In real time, she would be 30 now but that’s probably not accurate. But you know, it is a very cool coincidence when Hook started appearing on OUAT, it was roughly around her birthday. And all the big CS moments have been centered around her birthday as well. (Emma’s Birthday is Oct 28, 1983).
The Pilot (Oct 28, 2011) – Emma celebrates her 28th birthday.
The Crocodile aired Oct 21, 2012 (Hook’s first appearance); 7 days before Emma’s birthday.
The Doctor aired Oct 28, 2012. Episode featured Emma and Hook’s first meeting; on Emma’s birthday
Good Form premiered on Oct 27, 2013: Hook and Emma’s first kiss; the day before Emma’s birthday.
