Maybe Henry will call Hook “Captain”. Kids don’t generally use adult’s first names as a sign of respect, though I think Henry isn’t all that formal. I just think if he says Mr. Jones it sounds funny as does Mr. Hook.

She has been a nomad and a loner (*coughcough Hook coughcough*) most of her life. She eventually believed that Neal meant it as the plan for escape progressed with the watches. There has to be a reason why Emma decided to go to Tallahassee after she was out of jail. I hope they address that later on, at least in a flashback or a conversation. She stayed there for two years. It’s a significant part of her life.

Some people fell in love with Hook at first sight, back in the Crocodile. Others already made up their mind to hate whoever Henry’s father turned out to be, because of the things Emma said in season 1. By the time we see this scene, there were probably plenty of people thinking “Emma, he’s no good, he’s going to break your heart!” then looking to confirm the idea that Emma couldn’t have really been in love with him, that he didn’t really “deserve her”, and so on. My initial reaction though, was it surprised her because it seemed impractical & out of the blue rather than something they had discussed before, but once she saw he was serious, she fell for the idea (and him) more than ever. That’s why she felt so betrayed and hurt in the end, because he (and the idea of a home) meant so much to her.

If you listen to the official podcast with A&E for Tallahassee, they talk about that scene, as well as Neal and Emma’s motivations. I wish there were a transcript for it, because I don’t want to claim they confirm something when it’s more my interpretation of what they are saying then what they actually said. They are so tricky with how they phrase things! They do literally say though that Neal “wraps Emma up in his dream” of a home, but then she gets him to believe in her that she can steal the watches and pull that off. They start talking around the 3 second mark I think. Then around the 7 second or so, they talk about Tallahasee and say “it’s safe to say she was probably looking for him”. I don’t know they’ll revisit Emma’s life in Tallahassee — in a way, it’s not relevant to what is happening in the story moving forward. We wonder, because we’re sort of stuck in summer hiatus, analyzing and looking for clues and crumbs. Once the new season starts though, I think it’ll be clear that what is more important than how she felt at one point, is how she feels in the current story.

I think that’s pretty likely, that Hook and Emma will be split off from the group. However they split it up though, short of putting Hook with JUST Rumpel, it would be some interesting development for CS. Obviously, if he bonds with Snow or Charming, that helps offset objections that he wouldn’t fit into her family. If he’s adventuring with Regina, it might bring out some jealousy from Emma, pushing her to realize she wants his attention.

Don’t worry about trying to read everything at once during the hiatus. I know I try to follow a few CS fanfics that interest me and sometimes, it takes forever for the author to update I have to remind myself what was the last chapter I read.

Yeah, Mr. Jones just sounds weird. Captain or even Killian from Henry’s mouth sounds cute. Of course, I would like Emma to call him Killian first before Henry.

I can see how this call-back would be a stick in the mud for the continuity of S3’s story arc, but I guess it’s something the writers are allowing us to fill in the blanks as needed. It is safe to assume she went back to find him or at the least, find closure of half-hatched plans of settling down there. She was there for two years, which is the longest she has been in any place, and Regina commented on that in S1.

Regardless of who he pairs up with in his ventures at different points of the journey, it will be a way to forward the CS ship, if that is what the writers are truly intending. We cannot know for sure how CS will pan out, but I would like to see some jealousy from Emma. Hook would hold that over her head like a carrot. 😆

I totally do that with a lot of fics that I follow. I end up having to read from the start. Sometimes I like to revisit completed fics that were just that good. Fanfics are my saving grace in this hiatus right now.

Horowitz teased that our hero and villain are going to continue working together to rescue Henry … and it’s definitely going to be interesting to see how they get along. 😆 😆 That sounds like Captain Swan, doesn’t it? My CS mind just went to dirty places. 😆 😆

Forget about Neal. Fans are rooting for a “Captain Swan” relationship and it’s something that the “Once Upon A Time” co-creators said is totally possible.

“Here’s a guy that want’s a new chance and I think being surrounded by all these characters last year and even seeing his nemesis happy made him realize that maybe after these 100 years I need to get over Milah,” Kitsis dished on Hook.

As for whether Captain Hook and Emma Swan will hook up, “Who knows,” he teased. “They are on a ship together and Emma thinks Neal’s dead.”. 😆 😆 Again, I can only imagine the big grin on his face teasing that. Not even trying to be subtle about it. These people need to work on the poker faces better. 😆 😆

I just wanna hug my shipmates for hanging in there. I know somewhere out there, we are not outnumbered, not at all. It just feels that way sometimes.

All of my safe havens seem to be closing in on me but my love of CaptainSwan will NOT be torn apart by hateful people who insist on ruining anything positive for them. It doesn’t matter how many times Tumblr people ask CSers to not post in the OUAT or Emma tag for fear of hatred. It doesn’t matter how many mean tweets I see or how often people start “puking at the thought” of CS. It doesn’t matter how many times people tweet in-character and say that SF has to happen because “Emma has to end up with Henry’s real dad” *sigh, Jared*. It doesn’t matter how many times people say we only ship CS because Colin is hot or that we don’t like MRJ’s looks *eye roll*. And it doesn’t matter how hateful people will be while we are celebrating getting some major CS interaction while they are once again on a mission TOGETHER to get Emma back to her son.

All that matters is that we exist. We are Oncers just as much as anyone else is. We have reasons, REAL reasons, to hold out HOPE for our pairing, which is what this show is about.

So to my fellow CaptainSwan shipmates, I salute you for hanging in there. Together we can weather any storm that comes our way.
