I have a very important question… as beautiful as those CS moments were, was it my imagination or was Hook wearing a brown paisley shirt under his jacket? Brown paisley??? When did pirates wear paisley?[adrotate group="5"]If one is to engage with the primordial forces of darkness, one must expect a little social awkwardness

ParticipantQuickie: I never notice the shirt in the presence if the Irish eye-emoting and entwined hand-hugging)
Not so quickie: I agree, surayya, this ultimately was much more about Emma than Regina. I do think, hidden among the insulting ridiculousness of Regina in character destroying Drama-Queen mode, that the deeper issue of Emma’s future handling of Hook Angst is being set up. Rather a “can’t see the forrest for the trees” writers’ syndrome that so often happens in an episode. The story telling often veers off the eye-rolling map when the writers want to go a little too far into foreshadowing “parallel” land. They temporarily toss one character under a double-decker bus while driving another character forward. And the theme of this season IS never giving up in those you love. That just screams hot mess…
Chaos and creativity often are annoying bed partners.

ParticipantAn interesting ratings comparison from this past week’s episode, Breaking Glass which featured Swan Queen and The Apprentice (our Captain Swan date episode)
Breaking Glass – Swan Queen
Among A18-49, ABC's #OnceUponATime averaged a 2.3 rating, equaling demo audience for ABC's #Resurrection (1.2) and #Revenge (1.1) combined
— TVMoJoe (@TVMoJoe) October 27, 2014
The Apprentice – Captain Swan
Final adjusted ratings for Sunday: #OnceUponATime remains at a 2.7 Demo with 8.07 Million Viewers. #OUAT

ParticipantI ‘ve really liked this episode despite whiney Regina.

I am so emontional right now…
And that ring- yeah be more obvious A&E.

Oh, yes I do think that some of the foreshadowing was there for the whole Killian being Rumple’s bit… female dog, was there …. I think emma is going to be hurt & upset when she finds out (depending on how she finds out), but I think she’ll quickly realise Killian’s heart was in the right place & Rumple took advantage of that, which will have us seeing her fight for him (unless she fights for him before she finds out & her act of fighting for him inspires him to come clean, as he sees she really does love him maybe? IDK I’ve havent decided exactly which way I think A&E will go with it yet lol).
Yes they do often dont they, but in the words of Ron Weasley “we’re gonna suffer, but we’re gonna be happy about it” lol 😉October 27, 2014 at 6:55 pm #287768surayya

<script async=”” src=”//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js” charset=”utf-8″></script>Ouch, bit of a drop that! To be expected though I guess given the promotional material they used. I know on a group with 7000 plus members not one person was looking forward to yesterdays episode & many didnt bother watching thanks to the couple of interviews Lana gave combined with the promo of Regina tearing strips off of Emma (many see it as the whine-gina hr & many have stated they arent interested in hearing it all again, they’ve had enough of it & want S3 Regina back)- many seem to have just waited for clips on youtube/tumbler etc. Which I think is a little sad, as the episode wasnt at all ‘bad’ IMO.
I have seen hundreds of posts since the episode that are seriously not impressed with Regina’s ranting at Emma & I will admit, it surprised me as I thought the evilregals were probably the biggest character fan base given how often I see ‘Regina is the best’ stuff all over the place, but seems it’s more they are one of the most vocal about their love & Emma does actually indeed have the most supporters, it’s just they tend to be quieter. It really has been nice to see Emma so well defended against Regina’s diatribe- even on reviews that accepted Regina’s ranting & bashing of Emma, the comments seem to be skewed towards disgust & disappointment at Regina for her hypocrisy & admiration for Emma, for her not throwing everything Regina has done to her, in Regina’s face.October 27, 2014 at 7:02 pm #287769obisgirl
ParticipantI haven’t watched the episode yet but it did disappoint me that a majority of the interviews coming out in relation to the episode came from Lana and not Jen. I mean, that makes no sense. It’s Emma’s backstory episode for this season and I realize it wasn’t Jen in the flashbacks but it still relates to her character and instead, all the interviews are from Lana.
I might watch the episode Wednesday evening. I’m trying to have an open mind here and not pass any judgements before seeing it but from what I’ve read, it does seem this episode was simply to put a definition on Emma and Regina relationship and appease the Swan Queen fandom.
But judging by the gifs from tumblr, there were good Captain Swan moments within the episode. So, I’m looking forward to seeing those.

Well I did watch those scenes quite a few times before I noticed the shirt. I was actually looking to see if he was still wearing his blue one, seeing just how far his costume change was going to stretch to.

Oh that’s perfect! That pretty much sums up most relationships on this show.

(was trying to stay spoiler free this week) And probably glad I didn’t. I didn’t mind Regina being all a bit huffy and annoyed, that’s Regina, she needs to blame someone and she needed to vent. On my second watching I didn’t mind the episode so much. And also, with Emma just standing there and taking it, that’s what friends do. Emma did exactly the same thing to Hook last season. She was all whiny and whingy and Hook was taking all her snark and sarcasm, but he stood by her. Just like Emma is going to try and stand by Regina.

Haha, we do have a ship trademark now dont we- Snowing have I’ll always find you, We have intertwined finger hand holding 😉
As an aside I didnt know there was whole thing behind behind hand holding (aside from casual & intimate of course):….
1. Down-facing palm: Whoevers palm is facing down and has their wrist crossing in front, typically takes a dominant role in the relationship. This is also a protective stance or move. Typically, most men do this, as we saw with all the men we interviewed today on CityNews. This was observed on a busy street at Yonge and Dundas, and most men may have been protective as they walked their partners down the road through busy intersections.2. Interlocked fingers: When couples interlock their fingers, it shows a deeper connection, and that the person is more vulnerable and emotionally and physically connected at that moment. Non-interlocked fingers suggest a more casual relationship….
I’m not see a simple hand hold the same way again lol 😛
A&E are funny like that arent they- Emma down on one knee holding the ring TL follows where ever it goes out to Killian, wedding dress/gown framed in the shot where Emma & Killian are having a heart to heart about their relationship & another ring, this time Emma’s held by Killian- I’m sure there are other examples I’m forgetting lol. I’d rather they didnt go there in a hurry though- weddings seem to be the kiss of death screen time wise on Once 😉 😛 & I’m happy with things how they are going atm 🙂
