ParticipantI’m so bad I should be asleep- since I have to get up in like 3hrs!
But I just saw this on tumblr ….. & is it wrong that now I want this to happen sooooooooooooooooooooooooo bad?! (** edited for language)
Ok so I have a theory that the snow queen is actually a good guy, and the villain we see now is actually her reflection AND INGRID IS STUCK INSIDE THE MIRROR. what do u think?
WELL *SHIP*, SONThat is actually a really awesome theory! I mean, all of our characters, villains or not, have been misunderstood, have had back stories that were far off from what we all originally thought. What a creative spin that would be to have Ingrid stuck in the mirror and the present Snow Queen her evil reflection…and since I feel like Killian’s going to be interacting with said mirror at some point, it would be a twist for him to get stuck in the mirror like Ingrid. Aaaaaaand I also wouldn’t mind having Reflection!Killian walking around Storybrooke with his pirate swagger and arched brow and infamous smirk, sassing people and wreaking a little havoc for an episode or two xD

ParticipantThings will no doubt be heating up in CS Angstville for the remainder of the first half season!
Bring it on! This is what keeps this show entertaining 🙂 What with the new slug puddle Sneak Preview of the stink bomb that has been created for the Marian/Regina/(gag~ this is NOT Robin Hood) storyline, some fierce lovers angst or Rumple head butting would be welcomed. I hope we get to see more of the rapscallion. Turn that leather jacket collar up, Hook, and swash some buckles 🙂

Participant@KillianJones LOVE your vid 🙂 Everyone’s top 5 is fantastic but I have a hard time picking the best CS moments because we’ve been spoiled rotten by all the goodness. One of my favourites from 3×22 is the “Not everyone gets the chance to watch their parents fall in love” quote and the way Killian looks are her when he says it is just beautiful. And the way Emma looked over at him when he made the “must run in the family” comment convinced me that she was well on her way to falling for him. Sorry, the screenshots I posted came out at gibberish, but I think you all know the looks I’m talking about 🙂

ParticipantWhat I find hypocritical, is that the haters see Hook for teasing Emma about Walsh as something nasty, but oh no, when she and Neal exchanged horror stories about their exes [he was engaged to a minion of Peter Pan, who was also his grandfather, and Emma almost married a monkey] that’s somehow okay.
But I get the gist of what that meta was saying. Hook knows that Emma likes him but has no idea, if those feelings are only liking him or loving him; which he clearly loves her.
Here’s the thing though, Hook is a patient man especially when it comes to Emma. I think he knows that she cares for him, as evident by her speech at the end of Rocky Road in the street. She wants to protect him because she can’t lose him the way she’s lost other people in the past (Graham, Neal, Walsh).
All of these people died on her and she doesn’t want this to happen to Hook. Granted, we know Hook is excellent at surviving but it’s a legitimate concern on Emma’s part because she is genuinely invested in making this relationship work.
She’s falling in love with Killian. I don’t think she’s at true love level yet, but she’ll get there with time.

Oh I know those are two of my favs too! That specific look when he says “must run in the family” I love it that’s why I made sure to include it in one of my earlier videos! Another that was hard to leave off my top 5 was when Killian wipes Emma’s tears when she finds out Snow White is alive ahhh! So many good moments!

I think the haters are more upset by the comfort level Emma is showing with Hook by her genuine amusement at the Walsh comments he makes. The cracks she makes about his age he takes in the same manner. That’s what couples/friends do when they’re teasing each other.
Since it’s Thursday, here’s a throwback to the 3×5 smoochies Captain Eala used to post here on a daily basis last winter hiatus. Good thing we’ve got a lot more smoochies to choose from to post this upcoming horrible hiatus 🙂

ParticipantAnd if Emma were offended by Hook’s comments, you’d know that she would tell him that she’s offended and he would probably stop. Hook respects Emma’s agency (there, I remembered what that word was). He didn’t push her to be with him.
He let the choice be hers and even flat out told Charming, that what Hook and Emma become it’s as much as up to her as it is to him. He respects Emma so much that Hook’s not making any assumptions of that their relationship, that what they become is up to Emma. This relationship is her choice, where it goes, how it progresses or doesn’t, is Emma’s choice. It’s Hook’s choice but here, he’s letting her father know that it’s also Emma’s right too.
I love that about him, particularly because it’s what Emma needs in her life. And look, everything she’s done this season alone, speaks volumes about how she feels in regard to Hook.
She asked him out on a date. Emma made the choice to take that leap of faith. She wants to get to know this person outside of a pending crisis but instead, in an intimate and private setting. While on said date, she also made the choice to not let anything get in the way or ruin said date. And made sure to let Hook know the next day that she enjoyed the date, that it meant something to her. Because he is important to her.
The scene in the Sheriff’s station at the end of Breaking Glass. Emma could have chosen not to let Hook see those private things, representative of her childhood. But she’s choosing to trust him, trust that he won’t reject her, trust that he won’t judge her. But Emma chose to open to him, to let Hook see parts of the childhood that she had kept hidden. That’s huge and it also speaks to the level of comfort for Emma that she can be that with him.

I read a story when I was younger and I can’t think what it was called now (it might have been in one of the Mother Goose treasuries) about a king whose wife was cruel and there was this mirror and the wife’s reflection was really beautiful so the king decided to swap his wife for the reflection so he did somehow but the wife’s reflection was crueller and when he touched her, her skin was “as cold as glass.”
That theory made me think of that story.

When you said Rumple head butting, I realise you mean it in the Hook context, but I thought you meant Rumple actually head butting somebody lol. Robert Carlyle does do it well though in his many other roles!

I don’t think Hook’s being nasty when he teases Emma about Walsh. It’s a great comeback. Whenever Emma teases Hook about being a pirate/ 200 years old etc, Hook can reply with “Well at least I never married an evil monkey”

ParticipantWow, this thread’s grown fast!
Speaking of positive, this: http://winger-hawk.tumblr.com/post/101838595748/i-love-your-theories-metas-and-i-hope-they-pan-out-i -is IMHO an awesome description of Season 3 and it also goes into Regina’s light magic (which was the headcanon I had of sorts) It’s not CS, but I thought you guys might appreciate it. (Also had no clue where else to post it!)
I follow this person on Tumblr and I REALLY hope that she’s right about a lot of things. Unfortunately, I’m afraid she might’ve put more thought into planning ahead like this than the writers have…and it definitely never occurred to me before I read from her that Killian might possibly ever get magic. I think that would be really cool, but I’m not gonna hold my breath. Of course I have read some other theories that mention since we’ve seen pictures of him filming with the hat, maybe Killian gets magic through it, or maybe even turns the tables on Rumple and manages to suck him into the hat–wasn’t there a spoiler somewhere about Emma asking Rumple to take away her powers? That could certainly prompt Killian to want to take action against him.
But I’m glad to be anticipating this upcoming episode instead of dreading it, ha. Although that sneak peek definitely did make me roll my eyes. I mean I don’t know how he’s supposed to fall back in love with someone who’s frozen, but he’s really acting like a bit of a schmuck at the moment.

Hahaha, the anticipation of being in angstville is actually worse than being in angstville lol 😉 I do hope A&E simply get us there asap & stop giving us these wonderful little moments that when reflected upon, make one go “Oh, angstville is gonna be beyond angsty” 😛 LOL
I’m so ready for the angst to happen now, esp as I dont want it to be a tiny little part of only one or 2 eps (call me a masochist) lol… I’d rather we not go into the hiatus with massive angst though, although it would give us something to talk about LOL 😉 😛 But the way things are shaping up, that may well be the case… It’s so hard wanting to know & see what happens, yet at the same time not wanting to see & know what happens, because then it’s hiatus time…again & 3mths seems like just too long to have to wait for more Once 😉 lol
