I don’t think CaptainSwan will be endgame though. This was brought up in the Hookriel thread but Hook loves being a pirate sailing around whilst Emma would be quite happy staying in one place with her family. With a major difference like that, either Hook or Emma have to give up what they want meaning one of them will be unhappy or the relationship has got to give.
I go back and forth on CaptainSwan so much, I started out hating it, then it grew on me, then I’m like it could work, then it couldn’t work. SwanFire has its issues too.

Phee came to me with a question: Do people want a CSF thread? Away from our respective CS/SF threads? I’m open to it as I think we’re all sane and rational people who won’t kill each other and who obviously *want* to talk to each other, but I also think the individual threads should be for individual ships.
What do you all think? If yes, I can start one and lay out some rules. We had one before, before the forums were redone.

That’s the thing. We know that Emma led a transient life before Storybrooke, but love of her son (and then her parents) made her settle down. How do we know that the same won’t be true for Hook? That love of Emma, her son, and possibly even Bae, might lead him to want to stay with her.
I naturally have doubts about Captain Swan (which i’m 99.99999% sure is going to be endgame), but those doubts are quelled whenever I think of what we have seen of the SF relationship so far. *shrugs* And we know that those two are her only ships (so far lol)

Relating to the latest season solo promotional pic of Emma and CS. I know generally, those promotional photos are hated by Oncers and I’m probably one of the few who actually loves seeing Emma in a princess dress, but here’s a different take on why she’s wearing Snow’s purple gown for this season.
I like the idea that last season, we saw Emma having to fight to get back to Henry and next season, opening herself up to love and that is why the dress.

Actually not really. If you remember in the finale all Hook really wants is a family and somewhere to belong. That’s all he’s ever wanted. He’s looking to settle down as well.
As for that gigantic theory on the last page. Hook’s not just gonna be Emma’s friend. Yeah that’s wishful thinking on the haters parts.

I agree that Hook wants love and family. That’s why I believe it’s entirely possible that he’ll settle down with Emma. I really do.
Ha they’re not ALL necessarily haters. I’ve noticed there aren’t really haters here, which is nice. But I agree that some of the other ships do want to downgrade the connection the CS shippers see between Hook and Emma, maybe (probably!) because they feel threatened by them. But I can’t say anything to them, because when i’m in my 0.000001% “doubt zone”(that CS won’t be endgame) I try to do the same, undermine the other ship. Lol.

I think it’s safe to say that Emma Swan just wants somewhere that’s safe, somewhere that she can be protected against the bad things that she’s had to face in the past, somewhere like a… sanctuary.
And I think its safe to say that Killian Jones wants something that can have his whole focus, something that can be his entire world, something that’s just simply his, that can something like his… universe.
Emma means “world/universe”
Killian means “church/sanctuary”
