Thanks haha, I missed that. Now the only thing I need to make my evening complete is for the fbook page to get 4500 likes in the next hour so I can have the sneak peek before I go to sleep! Lol.
But you really helped make my day obisgirl 😉

BlockedSo I wanted to say something. In the other thread some people said that we disregard Neal’s actions to mean that Emma can’t trust Neal(she can’t) but regardless they then say that Emma can’t trust Hook. For example he left her to rot in the cell.
It’s interesting because they’re disregarding this scene big time and a really key thing. Cora was there. The entire time Hook was talking to Emma, Cora was watching them. Cora already told Hook that he was dispensable and if he would betray her again she would kill him. Why would Hook risk guaranteed suicide and if he let Emma and the gang go there’s not guarantee they wouldn’t have gotten out of there alive. There’s a reason even Rumple and Regina feared Cora.
So if Hook assisted Emma and co escape he would have died. No doubt in my mind, Cora would have killed him. Hook’s smarter than this and he hasn’t even gotten a chance to even see Rumple again. He’s not gonna risk what would INDEED be suicide for him. She would have killed him.
Now as for Emma trusting Hook. By the finale she’s well on her way. It’s why they purposefully when all were looking at Hook’s ship returning the camera zoomed in on Emma. It was a moment of realization for her. That she can trust him which is why Emma gives him the bean that he gave to her. Why did she do that? She could have thrown it into the sea? It’s because she’s starting to trust Hook and let him in because she’s now witnessed that he won’t abandon her like everyone else has.

ParticipantDon’t worry Hookian, we’re totally with you on all of those points 😉
And you’re right, she didn’t need to give him the bean at the end. The fact that she did says a lot!

I was only just thinking that! It’s very frustrating going around in circles, and each ship is adamant that their point of view is right, lol.
Maybe we’ll join in again when we get some new material to work with. Haha.

ParticipantEveryone is judging the other man on the mistakes of his past and not his current actions. It’s a two way street. If CSers judge Neal on his leaving Emma in prison, then Hook should be equally judged by the SFers on his actions of leaving Emma and company to rot in Rumple’s cell.
I do not approve of Hook’s treatment of Belle. He hates Rumple, fine, but don’t take it out on Belle. In fact Hook’s treatment of women in general has been less than endearing but poor Belle has got it the worst. I would like Hook to at least genuinely apologise to Belle for what he did to her.
Hook has a nasty side to him but he also has a nice side too. It would be nicer to see the loyal, cheeky and intelligent side of Hook rather than the out for himself, double crossing, innuendo-spouting jerk he sometimes comes across as.

Lol not really. Like I’ve said, Neal was in love with Emma and he betrayed her. Hook was not.

I would like him to apologise to Belle too. But in fairness to Hook, Belle was the only weakness the Dark One had that could be used against him, until Rumple left SB and didn’t have magic anymore. And also, we can’t forget that Rumple very cruelly murdered Milah (I don’t like Milah, but Jeez what a horrific death), and his servant (and countless others), so his treatment of women isn’t the best either!
Hook has a nasty side to him but he also has a nice side too. It would be nicer to see the loyal, cheeky and intelligent side of Hook rather than the out for himself, double crossing, innuendo-spouting jerk he sometimes comes across as.
I think he is a good guy underneath it all. He was nasty to people because that’s what was expected of him, so he gave it to them. “You reap what you sow”. If you expect the worst from people you’ll get it. And the innuendo-spouting is his way of protecting himself IMO, much like Emma’s walls.

KeymasterThis is just a suggestion but can we keep conversation like the one above localized to the CSF thread? Practically speaking, not ever SF shipper comes to read the CS thread and I’m sure they’d want to comment. Also, the individual shipping threads are supposed to be a happy place to share pictures, videos, fanfiction, and in general “why I ship *insert ship name*” and not negative “I don’t like *insert name of another character* because of XYZ” That’s why we started the CSF thread. And in my most recent posting over there I suggested that we all take one or two steps back and regroup. Everyone’s getting frustrated and we’re going in circles over something the ships will probably never agree on.
Like I said, just a suggestion.
