As you know, Emma is under the impression that Neal is dead, and as you should recall, Hook and Baelfire were once very close. However, this tangled web of friendships and affections do not stop Hook from getting his flirt on at any chance he gets. Their chemistry is electric, no matter how hard Emma tries to fight it.
Do you know what this brings to my mind?? “Feelings will be hard to deny.”

Also, a random thought i’ve been thinking lately: Doesn’t it make more sense to have the main character, the incarnation of TL, to have her love story spelled out from beginning to end, moment by moment?? Swanfire’s relationship is rooted in the past, while Captain Swan’s is currently happening in the present. That says it all I think. But that’s just my opinion.

Missed you guys! Life’s been crazy busy and the forum doesn’t always want to cooperate with me but I’ve been trying to keep up on stuff even though I haven’t had tons of time to post (or figure out how to).
Loving lots of the stuff you guys are saying and so happy with the recent news, pics, etc etc so carry on!
I loveeee how much Colin has gotten into stuff and that pic of the heart with the hook was amazing! SO glad they’re starting to promo him in a more positive light. Hopefully more fans will come around to Hook this season!
Keeping my fingers crossed for this beautiful, epic love story to play out (and not in a highlight reel). I’ve been keeping myself mostly to tumblr lately to more of a safe zone but wanted to check in!
Love the feelings will be hard to deny bit! Most of the articles/hype lately have been pandering to both sides and I get it, I just hate false hope for the fans. Today’s stuff makes me think that Neal will try to fight for her now, since she said ILY he’ll have reason to hope, but it’s what EMMA wants that will be important, and by the time he’s shown her he’s fought for her, she may already be in way too deeply with Hook – the guy who came back when he had no reason to think he had any guarantees of anything, other than her offer to be a part of something. Basically – reading between the lines they gave everybody some hope, but worded it in a way that sounds like while Neal is realizing he needs to step it up and actually fight for her (about time), CaptainSwan will be happening elsewhere.
So excited and can’t wait for Season 3. It sounds like it’s going to be EPIC (and really, can we expect any less??)
Afraid to get too excited or believe too much cause I will be absolutely crushed if it falls apart but I really love and adore and appreciate BOTH characters and I just don’t see how it would make sense for Emma to choose otherwise after everything that’s happened. I think what Neal does this season might make me like him a bit more, but it also might help him become the person he needs to become in order to find HIS true love, whoever that may be. Currently I am holding out hope for EvilFlame and I have lots of reasons for this (not just shipping to get him out of the way like most of the Hook ships seem to be with no regard to the char *ahem* but yeah, lots of reasons). The thing that concerns me most however is that Neal might be resorting to the thing he hates most? You mean like…magic? That’s never good. Not for Rumple, not for Regina…not sure how it would be for Neal, Mr. Anti-magic
which is the very essence of Emma’s genetic makeup, so I feel like maybe it’ll be something that bonds him (eventually) more with Regina than it would with Emma because desperate use of magic (other than to protect which is what Emma has used it for so far) and TLK to break spells, magic typically comes with a massive price and gets addictive fast. Who knows what he’ll do with it in an effort to get back to hereven though his focus should be on Henry, Emma should come second in this scenario regardless.#HookTheHero all the way! (Love #WhatTheHook as well, but let’s keep promo’ing Hook as a hero and get people to come around to the idea shall we? EVERY character is shades of grey, wish people would stop acting like Hook just needs to disappear in Neverland. He’s here to stay!)
I mean really, he’s important, he was planned on from the beginning and was only sidelined to season 2 because of a rights issue (and then benched a few eps because of an injury to the actor…sigh). I’m even nice to MRJ and love young Bae to pieces. Neal grows on me from time to time and I certainly don’t wish him any harm. I just have a strong reaction to his relationship with Emma is all. That’s not trying to kill him off or ship him to timbuktoo! I’ll be glad when the hatred stops but we have a long way to shipmates. Let’s just try to enjoy the ride and not let them take any of us down with them! We may be a small community within this Oncer community, but we are mighty and steadfast – we can weather any storm (much like our fearless captain).
Not sure how often I’ll be able to pop in but I do miss my original CaptainSwan circle! Here’s to Season 3! We’ve almost made it through the hiatus and should have lots to celebrate soon*fingers crossed*

You’re not wrong. That’s exactly how Tallahassee was setup, and that’s how Snow Falls (the episode Tallahassee closely parallels from season one is written).

Yeah, I don’t like the pandering to both sides myself, but accept that it’s necessary. But at the end of the day, it’s going to make the story of The Pirate and The Swan that much better, and soooooo much more satisfying!
I personally don’t ship Neal with Regina, but there are a lot of similarities there. I do have a soft spot for DarlingFire however – the scenes in 2×21 between Bae and Wendy gave me the warm fuzzies! I’m pretty sure he would have married her if PP hadn’t taken him to NL. In the end I do want Neal to be happy, but it shouldn’t be with Emma, and to be honest from a non-shipper standpoint they aren’t setting it up that way IMO.

It is an adorable picture. Reminds me of that Captain Swan drawing I did awhile back. That was cute too.

Oh, that’s nice – I’m happy that there’s someone else who likes Wendy and Bae together. I loved them in SSTTR and they both had a little crush on eachother in my opinion … 😉 I’d love it if they’d meet again, but I doubt that Wendy’s still alive in present day. :-/ I TOTALLY want Neal to be happy!!! He should be – but maybe with someone who matches better than Emma. That’s just my opinion. I’m so looking forward to Emmas promo pic, I’m so curious how it looks and which catch phrase they did choose.
